Aunty May Leng has amassed solid years of experience in taking care of baby and this is evident through the way she handles the baby and how she manages her daily tasks at my place during my confinement. She is a multi-tasker at work, she works fast and her response time is fast and prompt. Sometimes, I really feel she’s a superwoman! In the day time, baby is priority and she will settle baby first (showering & feeding baby) and when baby sleeps, she doesn’t just laze around. She will utilize her time effectively by doing household chores like sweeping, mopping or washing of clothes, helping to clear the bins and preparation work for next my meal while baby is sleeping. When she takes care of baby, she’s also particular about cleanliness and I can feel that she’s not just doing this as a job assignment but she puts in her heart and soul in taking care of baby. Aunty May Leng also has great baby product knowledge through the experience she had accumulated over the years. She introduced me an anti-colic milk bottle (MAM milk bottle) which had proven to be really good for my baby. She also recommended me to get Mustela baby wash and shampoo to help with baby’s dry skin and it has also proven to be effective and baby’s skin has improved so much. She also advised me which baby wipes and diapers are good for baby. (P.S what worked for my baby may not work for yours, so please do your due diligence too) Aunty May Leng is definitely a high performer and all-rounder at work. From taking care of baby… to preparing healthy and nutritious food for me and my husband (and sometimes even prepare extra food for my family and guests)…to doing household chores. She is also highly initiative in her work and has great passion in her work. Her motto is “if you want to do it, do it well”. This really gives us a lot of comfort (and rest time)! as newly minted parents….At night, when baby wakes up for feedings, sometimes as parents, we don’t even hear our baby crying! That’s how efficient Aunty May Leng is and because she wants to make sure we have enough rest during this period. We also just hired a maid and she willingly help to ‘train’ our maid and both of them gets along really well. I truly think that PEM Confinement should use Aunty May Leng as a benchmark for hiring confinement nannies because she really enjoys what she does and is amazing at what she is doing. I highly recommend Aunty May Leng (#1240) to every parent who is looking for a capable and all-rounder confinement nanny, definitely more than a 5 star confinement nanny! P.S Some of things that Aunty May Leng does is out of her own initiative – so please don’t assume if you hire her, she will have to take care of every single thing….because caring for baby is still the priority.
