My recent experience at Johnson Family Dental was phenomenal. I was so scare walking in since, I had not been to the dentist in over 2 years. The staff was so friendly and professional Erika informed me exactly what my insurance benefits would cover. Dr Diamond is very knowledgeable super gentle. He explained my treatment plan and phased it out focusing on the urgent needs. I was able to have a same day cleaning with Nick. I am beyond grateful to all the staff that made this so easy and painless for me. I highly recommend them.

We chose Johnson Family Dental for our son's braces five years ago. We also go as a family for our dental needs. Have had nothing but great experiences with them, from the front desk to the back staff and dentists. Hats off to Dr. Luke for easing my irrational and deep-seated fear of dentists with transparency, gentleness, and kindness.
I can start by saying I had a great experience. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and heard my concerns. I was a bit nervous from past experiences, but they made me feel comfortable. Doctor Steve did an amazing job, he was very kind! I had an emergency and the got me in quickly. I will definitely be returning.
Recently went in for a cleaning friendly front desk staff, both hygienists /dentist were kind and made me feel welcomed. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a dentist!
Came in scared and nervous for a cavity filling i had scheduled but the staff made me feel so welcomed and comfortable in the office from the minute i walked in to the end of it. Thank you Dr. Johnson, I went to your office with a broken tooth and was able to have it fixed same day. Carlos and Emily helped me with financing. I also was able to get my teeth cleaned by Kristin. Everyone was amazing! I truly appreciate you all. I recommend this office to everybody.

Forget the bad reviews here. It seems there is too many "Karens" and hatters. This review is long over due. I have been coming to Johnson for years now. The dental team has always been very attentive and helpful. They always greet you with a smile and answer all my questions. Any time I have had trouble with my insurance (which seems to be the problem) they always help me resolve and get them to pay. They follow up with any questions or concerns and get me in right away when ever the family has dental emergency. The kids love coming for the balloons and their toothbrush. I will continue to come here as they are the best in Ventura!
Five stars all the way! Dr Luke and Dr Scott and team are always so friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond to insure you are comfortable and explain everything. I love coming here and of course always look forward to my cleanings with Karin, my teeth have never felt so good. Emergency appointments are always available and they work with my schedule. Thank for making my smile beautiful . Love my REVEAL clear alighners so easy.
I hVr been putting going to the dentist since moving to Santa Maria. I started going to Johnson Family Dental and they have made everything from making appointments to going to the appointment easier. The staff has been very nice and welcoming and I actually enjoy going to the dentist. I also find it very convenient that I was able to replace my retainers that I lost there too. Again, super easy!!
