My 4 year old had her first ever dentist appointment and had a great experience. The hygienist was sweet and fun. Very kid friendly staff. She explained Mr. Thirsty and Mr. Tickler so she was not scared at all by the tools they used to clean her teeth. The Dentist lightened the mood by cracking jokes, which had our daughter in stitches. We were able to get her cleaning and xrays done in one sitting and that’s largely due to how safe and comfortable the staff made her feel. We will definitely be back!
This is a great dental office. The staff are all really friendly and make u feel comfortable. They go over everything and answer any questions that u have. Make sure u understand what u need to have done to have healthy teeth and gums. This Is a great family dentist! Thanks Johnson Family Dentist!
I am a very happy patient of Johnson Family Dental because of the hygienist Gloria. She is extremely professional, polite and kind. She does a phenomenal job and I always leave with a smile on my face knowing she did a thorough job helping me take care of my teeth.

I haven’t been to the dentist in too many years and I was dreading my appointment, but the ladies I saw put me at ease and were excellent. At no point did I feel they were trying to sell me on services that I didn’t really need. I was hesitant to go to JFD, but I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good option.
Johnson Dental put me in the decision-making I received clear & informative information on what needed to be done. Received a broken down invoice on the treatment plan. I regret being skeptical on finding another dentist.
Everytime I seeked new Dentist they usually tell me what the plan they are going to-do, however I regret there decision-making within months. Especially when I see the bill.
Very friendly staff. Dr. Smith is an excellent and personable dentist. I have been to several dentists since moving to the Central Coast and have not been happy, Johnson Family Dental in San Luis Obispo is so great I won’t be looking any farther.

Took me in promptly at my scheduled appointment time with a warm greeting. The new dental hygienist was friendly and took the time to briefly give a little background info. As she went along, she gave me advance notice of her procedures. The dental assistant was equally friendly and competent. Both had "soft hands"! I've been a long-term patient (almost 20 years) and I've been happy with Johnson Dental from the beginning!
I had my quarterly teeth cleaning at Johnson Family Dental Goleta on Sept 20, 2019. As usual, I had a great visit. The hygienist, Gloria，cleaned my teeth. She is very warm and professional. The whole team - dentist, dental assistants, hygienist, office manager, and front desk - are all very attentive and professional. The facility is new and very clean. I highly recommend it to everybody in the community.
