New in town and while I was looking for a dental care office. I decided to call Johnson Family Dental, they were very friendly and answered all my questions. They even made it easy for me and emailed me the forms, when I got there for my appointment they had everything ready for me and I didn't have to spend any time on filling out any type of form. The experience was amazing and I would high recommend them to anyone out there looking for a new dental office to go to.
I had such a great experience at the Camarillo office that I would recommend everyone choosing them for any type of work that is needed. They are All so wonderful, happy, work so well together, and always makes sure that our experience when we're there we feel like family. Watching how they treat everyone who walks in the door and calling the regular patients by name makes me feel so comfortable and happy that customer service is still alive. Now days you go into places and there is "No" longer any true customer service and this place makes me feel like I'm welcomed. Customer service is the most important thing to me, since that's what I've done for over 38 years. I will continue going to them as long as the team stays together, Yesiñia, Vanessa, Dr. Troung, Ashley and others. Thank you for ALWAYS making me feel like I matter to all of you.
Amazing service!!!! I would definitely come back here.I've been with the same dentist for years and I was having a horrible tooth ache and couldnt get back to see him. They squeezed me in the same day and did not make me wait long at all. They did an emergency root canal and made sure the whole time I was comfortable. I have never been to such a professional dentist office in my life.
This is the best dental office and staff I have ever used. Dr. Leroux and his entire staff are friendly, professional and make the whole experience wonderful. I can not say enough about them.
Dr. Leroux and his staff are top professionals. My wife and I have been going to Palm Dental since 2010 and wouldn't go anywhere else. We are treated as if we're part of the family.

Palm Dental Care really changed the way I view going to the dentist. After neglecting to go for quite some time, I made an appointment. I couldn't of asked for a better experience. All previous anxiety quickly disappeared. Peggy at the front desk is very warm and motherly, and instantly made me feel comfortable. Dr. Leroux and his assistant's really did amazing work and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable throughout the process of my visits. I will definitely be recommending Palm Dental.
If i could give more than 5 stars I would. This office was beyond amazing. From the receptionist to the billing lady Peggy at the end.
I haven't been to the dentist in over 10 years. I was so scared I almost cancelled. The lady who did my xrays was very warm and nice and had me thinking about other things. Then the dentist came in and he was wonderful. Very mellow, kind, and gental. Let me know everything he was doing and calmed my hears. Then I went to see Nancy for my deep cleaning. She definitely had her work cut out for her, she kept stopping to ask me if I was okay and if the pain was too much, She was very kind and very gentle. She didn't seem rushed or in a hurry at all and far most I for once at the dentist was very comfortable.
If you have a huge fear of the dentist as i do, this is definitely the place for you. I don't see how anyone could have a bad experience here.
I hope the Dr. And staff all know how wonderful they really are.
Very positive experience. I've been dentist phobic for most of my life, but Johnson Family Dental in Santa Barbara was able to put me at ease and to take care of the tooth extraction with a minimum of muss, fuss, or pain. Excellent! Highly recommended!
So I've had cheaper dentists. I've been to maybe 6-7 different dentists over the years, sometimes trying them by word of mouth, sometimes checking prices as the factor that made the decision. Eventually I chose to try them because I am new to dental insurance and my coworkers all go to them, so I knew the insurance worked there.
So yeah I'll admit they are probably slightly higher costing, but let me tell you...the difference in treatment and how I feel going to Johnson Family Dental versus any other cheaper dentist in town is enormous.
I decided to get rid of all my cavities in one go and I was TERRIFIED, but I've desperately wanted Invisalign and it had to be done.
There's just so many little touches about how they treat me. I've had dentists ask me if I owned a mirror- as if I wasn't aware that my teeth weren't super white and so forth. I was very apologetic about the cavities when I came to Johnson, but they treated me as they should- as someone who was trying to fix the wrongs they did to their mouth.
They gave me a blanket during my root canal and cavity fixing, they even tucked me in and made sure I was okay. You know how many times I've gone in somewhere else, already shivering because of my phobias, and the office was FREEZING?
They even took the time to find a channel I'd want to watch, and during the procedure Dr Haverty (spelling?) was very attentive to whether I felt pain or any discomfort which made me feel more relaxed. He even took extra time to make sure the injections (which cause me such anxiety I cry) were as painless as possible and that I was okay after getting them.
I won't say he hugs me and asks about my day, but he answers my questions kindly, and that's all I really ask from my dentist. These guys look at crappy mouths all day and are pretty busy. Their assistants are really nice!
The only time they ever messed up was once when I went to pay for bone stuff to fill in my jaw holes where my teeth had to be pulled out, prepping it for implants in the future. They thought I had already paid, and I didn't notice until the next month I went in, and then it was suddenly very expensive, but I had the money already, ready to pay. I had just been excited thinking my insurance had eaten more of the bill!
Even the day I was sick and completely forgot my appointment, they never got irritated or rude, they seemed genuinely pleased to reschedule me.
I've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes for my appointment. They have valet parking in the event their little lot is full. They do their best to make my appointments as convenient as possible for my schedule, even accommodating Christmas.
My sister thinks I could find cheaper care elsewhere, and I'm sure she is right. I'm sure as a big corporation maybe they charge for more than normal, maybe there is something I'm not seeing to make them a big bad meanie, but so far as I know, its been a really pleasant experience having them as my dental provider. I feel less shame about my teeth, and less stress going in to get a cleaning or something I need.
They have changed my dental experience from one of shame and fear to one of pleasant excitement, because every visit reinforces my feelings that I'm finally making good steps for my oral care.
I have always had a terrible fear of going to the dentist. This was the first time I can say it was a great experience and I do not mind going back. I had a new crown and had my teeth cleaned so there was work to do. Everyone so so kind and patience it was easy and Dr. Leroux was gentle and aware of my fears.
For me to say I will go back is a complement because I have hated the dentist as long as I can remember.

My family has been coming to the Solvang office for years. Dr Holbrook and Dr Winn are both wonderful dentists. I especially like that they make me feel like apart of their family. My grandkids love coming too!
Finding the right dental office is individual. The staff is friendly, and understanding. Liz and Brit are great hygienists too. I would recommend you call and schedule an appointment today!
This is my favorite Dental office ever. The office staff, hygienist, dentist are all so very nice and professional. I would recommend them to anyone, including those who don't have insurance.
I just had the best dental experiance of my life here!! I've been living in slo for the summer and am leaving at the end of the week. My retainer came loose a few days ago and Palm Dentistry went out of their way to fit me in 30min after I called. Everyone was incredibly accommodating and very nice. They fixed my retainer quickly and comfortably. Highly recommend!!!
