Biggies is brilliant! From the very start they have been supportive, friendly and helpful. With amazing volunteers who keep you updated throughout the whole process and have a great wealth of information and help even after your new furever friend arrives. I am & will always be very grateful for everything they have & are doing! A absolutely brilliant charity that I have & will continue to recommend! 🐾🥰🐕💖

We adopted our wonderful dog (a large adult mio mix) in July and the Biggies League were so supportive throughout the process. We were matched with a dog who could live with kids and three cats and he has fitted so well into our family. As this was our first dog we had a bit of a learning curve to do with training and helping him to adjust to living in a home and the Biggies 'parents' page of fellow adopters was incredibly supportive and full of good advice. Would definitely recommend to other adopters.

I think the biggies league is fantastic ! The work they do with those poor dogs is incredible . They must see some horrendous sights. We got our Millie (was Bella ) almost 18 months ago from the biggies league , she is the loveliest, gentlest wee girl you could wish for . There have been problems but she is so worth it all . Have told all our friends, don’t buy - adopt !

Got our beautiful Matilda from them. Was looking for a dog who would be good with small children and she is perfect with my boys to whom she is a first pet. Biggies did a great job suggesting her with us.

The lovely Luna arrived direct from Romania on 30th December. She is just amazing. The communication from our home check through to her being delivered was brilliant and the advice since her arrival has been invaluable. Can’t recommend highly enough 😃

Everyone at the Biggies League are absolutely amazing! The process was seamless and they clearly care so much about the dogs being placed in the right home. Love my doggy so much and he’s exactly how he was described online. Thank you so much for everything!

We have had our young lady fir 6 weeks now. Time has passed so fast. We are all settled down and at one with one another 😁. The Biggies League matches us together and for that we are grateful. They also continue to support all us parents in our new role.

We were searching for a dog to adopt and after expressing interest we were contacted really quickly to arrange a chat and to do a home check ( by video due to covid), everyone we spoke to and met were really friendly and helpful and we know they are there if we need help in the future. Our boy is amazing and they told us as much as they knew about him and his likes and dislikes since been with them. Definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to use for ourselves if we adopt again x

We found our dog after biggies was recommended to us. I liked the process- which even though it was done during lockdown was very thoughtful and we knew they were really trying to match people with the right personality dogs. We have had her 4 months and she is truly a pleasure- I enjoyed the experience so much I told my friend who was also looking and her biggie came home a few weeks later!

My 'go to' dog rescue organisation. Comprehensive website with loads of information, real people to access for help, guidance, support or general questions. Comprehensive rescue back up for adopters. Plenty of dogs of all ages and types carefully matched to the right home.I would have no hesitation in recommending The Biggies' League as the top all rounder in Romanian dog adoption.

We adopted our Romanian rescue in June 2020. The charity were great at communication and although there were delays with arrival due to Covid they always kept us informed. The facebook group for adopters has been a great support and always full of helpful advice. We are so in love with our little pooch and if we ever contemplated another we would definitely do so using biggies league!!

We have had two wonderful dogs from The BIggies League and had a really good experience both times: good communication concerning both dogs (who we were able to meet before confirming the adoption), and good back-up afterwards. We were lucky that our boys both settled quickly, but we would definitely recommend to other potential adopters.

Adopted a small breed 5 month old puppy with The Biggies League , and after 3 weeks can say I have my perfect companion- he’s healthy , smart and learning to overcome all his fears very quickly . I would say he was not well socialised in foster in Romania , but am grateful for his foster / rescuer for saving him off the streets. He’s an absolute babe , and the Biggies League do everything they can to match people and dogs responsibly , they communicate clearly with adopters and the animals in their care are fit and healthy . It’s a different experience from adopting from a UK charity , so adjust your expectations of the dog and be prepared to put in the time and effort to settle and socialise your dog - absolutely worth all the hard work !

Don’t use this organisation!!!It took over 6 weeks and 3 attempts for the Joris/Jeff to get through the Defra checks. On the failed attempts had to be taken back to Romania..On his arrival he was severely malnourished and his hips and spine were pertruding. At least 8kg underweight. Coat was matted to the extent that it has had to be stripped totally off and fiflthy. He did not look like this on the original pictures on their site.Poor organisational and communications throughout the process.Would not recommend these people at all!!
