This Veterinary Practice is just the best! I have had pets registered here for over 20 years even before it was Goddard's but the care, kindness and compassion from all the staff has always been excellent and I've been so reassured that my pets have always had the best care and will continue to have excellent care going forward. Would very highly recommend !

The staff at Goddard’s Raynes Park are knowledgeable, friendly and compassionate. They always welcome you and your furry friends/babies with a warm greeting, lending space for questions when difficult conversations are required. We’re grateful for their help as we manage our senior dog’s needs and his feisty little brother, too. They’re a top notch group of professionals who we are glad to have just around the corner. If you ask our Labrador, their treats are chef’s kiss, too.

The vets themselves are good, and the staff are all very friendly. However I had several issues with general administration. I've been told to delay vaccinations for my cat to later be told they shouldn't have been delayed, which meant paying to get them restarted. When I moved and was in-between vets, I asked about collecting a prescription from another Goddard practice, which I was told would be fine, only for the other branch to tell me it was a breach of contract and couldn't be done. It is a shame because they're generally very nice and accommodating, but I've had to pay an additional £100 over the year due to staff mistakes.

We have had nothing short of amazing service from Goddards. Our sweet Eddie had to be put down a few months ago and the whole clinic was so supportive and kind through the whole process. We never had a problem getting an appointment for Eddie and the nurses and doctors and receptionists have always been helpful throughout the years. Thank you again for everything you did for us.

I would highly recommend this vets as I had to use there services for a one off appointment for my tortoise last night. Unfortunately there was nothing that could be done so she had to be put to sleep. I’m so sorry I didn’t get the vets name but what a lovely man he was. He was so caring because it’s not the news I’m sure they like to give on any animal but he was so lovely and explained everything to us. I’m just sad I don’t live nearer as I would change vets today. The receptionist is really lovely as well. Thank you both again for your kindness.

My dog partially ripped a toenail off whilst on a walk. She was limping and bleeding so I called this practice in a panic - it was 15 minutes until closing (and I was 10 mins away) but they told me to come over anyway. They were so understanding and so good with my dog - I was quite emotional because she was in pain but they couldn’t have been kinder. They swiftly removed the hanging nail and gave me instructions for keeping it clean and dry. The cost was very reasonable too, I was expecting to be shaken down considering it was a last minute appointment and ran out of their normal hours. Thank you so much!

We had a horrific traumatic incident here at Goddard Vets on Grand Drive. My sweet cockerpoo dog was having a scan to see if she was pregnant. It wasn't invasive apart from having her belly hair clipped off (which she has at the groomers). Anyway, I hear many screams of terror from her whilst I'm in the waiting room! This lasted, off and on, what seemed like 15-20 minutes! I was petrified for her and asked the receptionist to go check on her and I was anxious in the waiting room thinking WTH is going on. My dog is not a vocal type of dog, so for her to scream meant she was uncomfortable and in pain. Sure enough when I was invited to go see the results of the scan, they had two nurses pinning her down uncomfortably with the vet huffing and puffing and my dog was on her back screaming in terror. Absolutely no bedside manner as my dog is obedient when asked to do things in the right sweet manner. I stood there in shock and was horrified. The service and this incident was so bad, it traumatised me and my dog so I've moved veterinary practice. On top of that, I always thought this practice was off and would hate to have got my dog put down here.

This an expensive and inconsiderate vet practise. Stay away! My dog Toby developed a simple ear infection recently. I knew exactly what Toby needed to treat it: antibiotic ear drops. Since these are not sold without prescription, I went to Goddard Vet Raynes Park to get a prescription to treat it. They charged me £55 for the vet consultation plus £35 for microscope review of discharge from the ear and another £45 for 15 ml of antibiotic ear drops. A total of £135 to treat a simple ear infection! At no point during the consultation did the vet ask me if I was okay for her to use a microscope, which she later changed me extra for. When I googled the ear drops they sold me I saw they cost £12 online. What a rip off! They charged me £45 for the drops that one can get for £12! I called them and asked to return the drops for a refund. They said okay but said they would have to charge me £20 for writing a prescription in order for me to buy the same drops online! They also said it wouldn’t be done same day as they didn’t have any “extra vets” to attend to it… It looks like they do everything for pet owners not to be able to afford treatments for their pets. Where is animal welfare at heart here? They are crooks, please avoid them.
