Fresh, high quality ingredients. Clean and airy space. Knowledgeable and friendly servers. Looking forward to trying out the rest of the offerings on the menu. This is my new lunch spot.

Varied and delicious food with many veg and vegan choices. I’m surprised there was no veg burger like they had at their Scottsdale AZ location. Lovely drinks. Dessert selection is low. Service could be slightly better - friendlier and not as curt.

Food is amazing. I’ve been there twice now and everything tastes fresh. The bartender Kelly makes delicious cocktails. Highly recommend for dinner and brunch

Excellent concept of healthy and real food. We ordered hummus and Cauliflower appetizers and pasta, pizza and salmon entrees. The service and atmosphere is really good. Only disappointment was the drinks they were very weak and loaded with ice

Only problem is that it was difficult to get really hot coffee, and eggs could have been hotter. However I would go again because the brunch items were so good. I had eggs on avocado toast. It was only open 3 weeks and are probably ironing the kinks out.

We are thankful that we were able to enjoy True Food Kitchen's Menlo Park location last weekend during their VIP weekend! We enjoyed great service, handcrafted cocktails, seasonal appetizers and entrees, and the BEST flourless chocolate cake I've ever had (with vegan ice cream). The food and drinks are created with fresh ingredients and have big, balanced flavors. I'm excited to come back for happy hour and lunch very soon! The restaurant is spacious with an open kitchen and greenery from Terrace Plant Shop! **A note for families: there is a kid's menu, but a lot of the regular menu items would work great for kids of all ages! There is a large family restroom with a changing table (and changing pads - a rare find!)**

Don’t let their corporate look from the outside fool you, this location has great well seasoned food.

Love the new True Food location that opened in Edison! I have tried the avocado toast from their brunch menu and the acorn squash flatbread which is listed as an appetizer. The avocado toast was one of the best I have had, the avocado was perfectly seasoned. The squash flatbread is drizzled with hot honey, which I absolutely loved!!! I can not wait to go back and try more entrees. My girlfriend and I sat at the bar, served by Keith and Anthony. Keith recommended the common bond cocktail, a bourbon cocktail made with chai. Perfect cocktail to have during the fall season. Can’t wait to try more!

This place is going to be a great addition to the restaurant scene in Edison's Route 1 area. It joins the other fast casual chains, but don't like the others who defrost, microwave and deep fry their food, at True kitchen everything is made fresh and in the traditional fashion. Very clean and bothered atmosphere. The wait staff is super friendly.

Tried the chopped salad, roasted brussels sprouts, and charred cauliflower. All were delicious and super fresh. The roasted cauliflower was especially tasty. Very happy to have a such a good healthy/vegetarian option for when we are feeling like takeout. Definitely excited to try more of the menu.

This newcomer to the expanding universe of True Food Kitchen feels immediately steady in it’s clean, bright & airy space. The seasonal menu has a playful range of familiar favorites, from Asian to Italian, with serious culinary underpinnings. The Edamame-Truffle Dumplings floating in a subtle, earthy dashi broth with fresh herbs were exceptional. The Prince Edward Island Mussels were bold and beautifully presented with roasted fennel, chicken sausage and grilled bread. The Seared Wild-Caught Tuna with roasted mushroom was special, a cool & gentle avocado crema followed by the more pointed sweetness of the tuna, fast on the heels the bright heat of jalapeno slivers. Bright fruit-forward flavors across all of the cocktails and refreshers, the Skinny Margarita and Hibiscus Limeade are highlights. Service is thoughtful, speedy and surprisingly crisp. While not exactly a modest portfolio, with 40 locations from CA to NJ, certainly appears to be a manageable one. Welcome to Edison True Food!

I’ve been a loyal customer of this chain for years. Usually when I am in PA, I go to their King Of Prussia location so when I found out they were opening this location only 20 minutes away from me I was sooo excited!!! Of course I ran over for dinner on opening day. The service was excellent, Ness was our server. We ordered the chicken & sausage pizza, butternut squash soup, feta pasta, and chicken teriyaki from the kids menu for my 1 year old son. For the drinks we ordered the espresso martini and the hibiscus margarita. I didn’t get to take pictures of everything bc we dove right in! I am a foodie & love to enjoy my drinks but unfortunately I suffer from from stomach issues and it’s very hard for me to enjoy eating at restaurants. I love how I can actually come here to eat a delicious, healthy meal and not have to deal with the aftermath. From the menu to the aesthetics in this place is everything.

First, let me say we came in on a VIP day where we were able to reserve and eat for free best on a modified menu. What kitchen specially in Jersey does that so you can come in an experience what it means to dine at a farm to table experience before the actual opening, Nowhere!!! We sat at the bar and there were several bartenders, I assume to ensure practice and coverage and just to get what it means to serve. I would like to call out a couple of bartenders we had Kelly and Tye who I found was very personable loved her vibe would definitely come back when she is there. Kelly was always smiling which when your having a bad a day to come into a well lit kitchen and see vibrant engaging bartenders means everything. Thank you True Food Kitchen We will be back soon
