Good portions are small compared to American size. Priced on higher side.

Korean steak was delicious. Apricot spritzer and ube tart were divine. Service was lacking. Waitress never came back after food was delivered. We had to flag down another waiter to get to-go container and the check.

I had the chopped salad. It was very good. The server was polite. Good place to eat a light, healthy meal.

Food was really good and tasty. Alot of fish. Portions were fairly small. I was still hungary after eating. Spent over $110 per couple with 1 drink each. Everyone loved the humus. Really specific type of food so not for everyone. Check menu before going. Very clean. Kitchen exposed. Not very fancy.

Food was average. Service was awesome. Atmosphere was kind of clinical, and acoustics were sub par.

Showed up as a 'healthy', 'vegetarian' recommendation when I was looking to try something different, and I'm glad I went there. The interiors are visually appealing, and the restaurant has an open, airy feel. Refreshers- the Sparkling Prickly Pear Tisane was great, and the Hangover Rx seemed too sweet to me. The Roasted Brussels sprouts were soft and tasty. Edamame Dumpling was ravioli with edamame on the side, in a delicious broth. Loved the variety in the Ancient Grain bowl, the Chopped Salad was well done, and the Pesto Pasta was perfect! Amazing portions, great service. I thought the cane chairs felt cold during the winter, I'd go for a table with a sofa in the corner, next time. Plenty of parking - during a weekday.

Mussels appetizer was good and well made in an unexpected marinara sauce. I had the umami burger. Very good, juicy and tasty. I had the fries substitute and that was very surprisingly sparse. Like 10-12 small purple potato wedges on a large plate. It made for a bad presentation and left me wanting more. My wife had the ramen. She liked the broth, but it isn't served with ramen noodles leaving her quite disappointed. It shouldn't be called ramen...maybe a pho dish. Mom-in-law had the lasagna. It was just ok. Server was super nice. Overall, decent, but left disappointed and likely won't be rushing back any time soon.

Great spot if you're looking for simple and fresh food! The menu is seasonal and they have a lot of vegetarian / gluten-free options. My mom and I shared the Truffle Honey & Squash Flatbread and the Ancient Grains Bowl with a side of Brussel Sprouts. The flatbread was a bit too thin but the toppings were really delicious. In both entrees, the vegetables were cooked and seasoned well! Since the portion sizes are on the smaller side, I would recommend coming here for lunch. Overall, True Food Kitchen is a welcomed healthy addition to the local food scene!

Been there only once and will try again. The food was ok. Plenty of vegan options. Atmosphere gets a 3 because the place is way too bright. They need to dim the lights.

Tried out this new place. Food had very fresh ingredients. I was disappointed in my dish - the pesto acorn squash & pasta. The squash was not peeled therefore it had a hard skin on the soft squash flesh - not a great combo of texture. The flavor of pesto was overpowered by the cilantro garnish on top - entire dish tasted like cilantro - no pesto or garlic flavor whatsoever. Really disappointed in this dish. My husband's dish was delicious - the lasagna bolognese. The best was their butternut squash soup. My drink had too much ice in it and that made it hard to drink - just put it in a smaller glass with a lot less ice. Our waiter, Dylan, was great! May try it again in the spring for that season's menu.

Best turkey burger I've had. From a man who is not a fan of turkey burgers. Bruno was our server, and his attentiveness was superb. I will come back

I have been on true food in California San Diego I think the menu there is better, I'll give the benefit of the doubt since it just open here, the food was ok on quality but my plate was too spicy didn't enjoy it at all. The offered me a high table even though they had normal sitting I did sit on one of those tables but I don't recommend it very uncomfortable. Overall I love the the drinks pass on the menu.
