Dr. Hallstead has been my dentist for a long time. He has been able to preserve teeth that were cracked or cavity filled by putting crowns over them. When Dr. Hallstead puts a crown on to save a tooth, he makes sure the bite is good and the crown is spaced properly.
I had an emergency dental procedure out of town about 4 months ago. This emergency dentist admired Dr. Hallstead’s work. He said he uses the better - more expensive - less brittle porcelain. I have two gold crowns in the back of my mouth where you can’t see. This emergency dentist said gold is the best choice whenever possible.
