With deep appreciation, I thank Jimmy Wagner for helping me fight “injustice”. My NYC co-op situation is quite unique. I, as well as other shareholders, were mis informed by the board members that we have no right to sublet our units. Upon Wagner’s careful review of the by-laws however with only one phone call he made a historical correction.

For most people who have never been involved or dealt with the legal system, especially in NYC, they should count themselves lucky. For all others who are not so lucky and find themselves in a situation where they have no choice but to seek legal counsel, one quickly realizes it is no easy task retaining an attorney who you feel confident is up to the task and not a shyster out to drag out the whole process in order to squeeze every last penny out with billable hours.
I consulted with various attorneys that requested exorbitant retainers until I came across Mr. Wagner. He immediately struck me as someone who possessed the right balance of experience, technical skill and street smarts to give the best possibility for success and my judgement was proven right when Mr. Wagner achieved a favorable outcome for me.
There are other factors at play during a court case which one does not necessarily have any control over which can also affect the outcome of a case. The biggest factor one does have control over is choosing representation wisely and from my experience, I can honestly say that Mr. Wagner will represent you and your interests with integrity. This firm delivered! If you are seeking an attorney to “get it done”, efficiently and professionally, look no further! After a long and protracted Estate case which my siblings and I thought we “were never going to see the light at the end of the tunnel”, attorney Jimmy Wagner was able to negotiate a settlement. This is significant because prior to Mr. Wagner’s involvement, this case was on-going for approximately 11 years and at times it was stagnant. Mr. Wagner was able to quickly resolve an issue that previously prevented the Estate from reaching distribution. But, more importantly; however, his knowledge of probate and real estate law enabled him to move the case along as expeditiously as possible given its status/history and procedural posture, at the time he was retained.
He is straightforward and no nonsense; but at the same time, courteous. And when it comes to civil litigation strategy, he thinks “smart”. He quickly accomplished what seemed impossible. A client could not ask for a better attorney.
