Nice concept and pleasant staff, but the food quality is TERRIBLE. Bland, overcooked, and poorly plated. We had the seabass, Korean steak, margherita pizza, tuna tostada, hummus, and a salmon salad. The Korean steak was the worst offender. I guarantee you that a hockey puck has more flavor. Ordering the steak medium does not help. It still came out nearly well. Just sad. Next was the tuna tostada that looked like slop on the plate. What made the tostada really bad was the poor quality of tuna. Pieces of the tuna were smashed and looked like purina cat chow. You can get a better quality tuna next door. Then we have the Margherita pizza… to say it was dry is an understatement. So bad I had to snap a pic…. Basil anyone? I couldn’t find any. Maybe they used the dry variety. The seabass was underwhelming… the chopped up broccolini made me feel like I was a toddler. The dish was also dry and…. umami where? All of the wine glasses on the table were dirty… food debris, lipstick, fingerprints…even the waitress was disgusted. Drinks were decent but mostly ice. I was so excited to try this restaurant out for my birthday and left utterly disappointed. So much so, I went for appetizers in Crown immediately after so my tastebuds would stop crying. I understand this place has only been open about 4 months, but I doubt I will return. $200 later it was an ULTIMATE FAIL.
