I paid $250 for a 30-minute consultation, but John took well over 1 hour to dissect every aspect of my case with IRCC. He spoke to me and my wife on the phone like he was talking to his friends or siblings. He was professional and patient and answered every reasonable and unreasonable question we asked him. One thing I find fascinating about John is that he wasn't focused on making money from us like many lawyers will do irrespective of the outcome of a case. After carefully looking at the possible arguments to present to IRCC, he simply recommended against pursuing a case cos of a high chance of losing it due to calculated evidence against me. Not that he couldn't present a strong argument, but the chance of me losing $6,500 was high, and he just didn't want that for me.
