I would like to commend the Matkowsky team, especially Maiuran and Sam, for their exceptional professionalism. I recently applied for a study permit and TRA visa for my family, and thanks to their expertise and attention to detail, the process was successful. I highly recommend their services.

I highly recommend Matkowsky Immigration Law. I was accused of misrepresentation by IRCC and that’s when I hired Matkowsky Immigration to assist with my application. I was given 30 days timeline to respond to the PFL I received. I honestly didn’t know what to do. I found out about this firm through google (based on the amazing reviews they have). My first interaction was with Sam Zimmerman. He is highly knowledgeable and super helpful. Shameika took over my case after that. She is exceptionally good human being, kind, hard working and non judgmental. She spent a lot of time to create impressive respond to PFL as well as argued with IRCC on humanitarian and compassionate grounds. It’s worth paying them the fees because my PR application was approved. I can’t thank Shameika and her colleagues enough for what they have done and again I highly recommend anyone facing any kind of issues with IRCC, “Matkowsky Law” is the right place to go to.

I am writing this review to express my sincere gratitude to Amanda Mitchell for her help in the filing of an open work permit and an inland spousal sponsorship application for my American partner. From the initial phone call consultation, it was already clear that she carried herself with a high degree of professionalism and was very knowledgeable in the specifics of immigrating between the United States and Canada. She answered all my initial questions and was very transparent about what future fees would be required should I choose to retain the services of her and her firm. Never once did I feel pressured into committing to anything either, which can be an issue when “shopping around” for legal counsel. As of writing this, I am very glad that I chose to retain Amanda’s services. Normally one might be apprehensive that, after the “sales pitch” of an initial consultation, the quality of service might drop off. This was certainly not the case. Amanda’s help proved invaluable, right up to the date our applications were submitted. She was always prompt and courteous in answering our emailed questions throughout the entire process. Also, when we realized we were unable to locate a key document (spouse’s birth certificate), Amanda was very accommodating in scheduling a telephone call to ease anxieties and outline the best courses of action if we could not find it. Along with the certificate issue (which worked out), there were other complications along the way which led us to seek more clarifications from Amanda. Never once was she anything less than polite, understanding, and helpful. I’m sure other lawyers could have gotten annoyed with what felt like excessive questions, but not Amanda. Another of Amanda’s services which proved very useful was her ability to notarize documents for us over Zoom, as this ended up being a big time and effort saver. She was also very diligent in reminding us about what deadlines would need to be met so that there was enough time for everything to be composed, organized, and sufficiently proofread prior to submission. The previously mentioned complications (on our end) pushed things a lot closer to the deadline than I’m sure Amanda would have preferred, but she was still no less polite or helpful. A lot of times in life you do not get what you paid for, but I can personally attest that my spouse and I received great value for money with all the help and services that Amanda Mitchell has provided us so far. As such, we are both very grateful as we wait and prepare for the IRCC’s decision. Looking back on things I am certain that, without Amanda’s counsel, the IRCC would be much less likely to approve mine and my spouse’s recent applications. Given certain time constraints related to our process, I do not know what we would have done without Amanda’s significant legal expertise, knowledge of the application system, diligence, patience, and overall guidance.
