I called Matkowsky and Associates after my own attempts to file for permanent residency failed. I spent almost 2 years working on my application, first visiting the government websites, trying the application process myself, and then reaching out to other legal firms for help. I went through the lottery twice only to have my express entry application rejected for very preventable reasons. My Matkowsky case worker was excellent and far better than two other firms that I tried. He always responded quickly and knew the 'ins and outs' of the application process. He also provided clarifications and additional information to the Canadian Immigration Services on my behalf that I would not been able to do on my own. You may hear that it is not necessary to hire an immigration lawyer to get through this process; well I spent a huge amount of time and expense on my own-only to fail. Had I hired Matkowsky from the start I would have gotten my PR card about 2 years sooner, saved countless hours of personal time, and would have saved all of the money I spent on getting duplicate medical checks, police checks, etc. as they all expired while I fumbled around with the rest of the application.
