*Update: After speaking with the owner, who was apologetic, we got a very fair deal in their attempts to correct the situation. For that, I have raised the overall review from 2 to 4 stars, and change from 2 to 5 on service. Thank you for the concern you have regarding your customers and their overall experience.* The food was less than mediocre, which was also the case on a previous visit. The food was barely warm when it arrived at our table, and cold cheese curds are just plain inedible. It's tough and extremely dry and rubbery. It was like they made them first, let them sit, and waited until other food was done prior to bringing them out. No amount of dipping sauce can fix it. The burgers looked REALLY good, so it was a big dang disappointment to get the DRIEST buns one ever had. The burger itself was not just welldone but almost burnt. We had no complaints about the fries, although they were also cold. Our food wasn't delivered at the same time. 3 of the 8 people in our party were finished with what they ate of their meal before the last meal arrived. I don't like giving poor reviews, especially about our local businesses, but this place has sadly been scratched out of our "places to eat" list. Maybe if you want ice cream, it's a fine place to visit. It's a cute nook and had a fine atmosphere but terrible food and mediocre service...especially for being the second patrons of the day.
