Customer service is not terrific initially. They were super helpful at first. I paid for the service, was set up with a art/graphics person to help me create the ad. He said I would be working with him 100 percent directly. I emailed several times with some of my graphics for the ad and asked if he received it because that is what I was told to do, no response at all. However, despite initial impressions described above, representatives did respond to my concerns in my initial review and explained their perspective that it was mostly a staffing and coordination issue. I can respect any company that at least cares about and responds to customer's dissatisfaction.

Don’t use these guys. I paid them $1,500 and haven’t seen or heard back from them at all. I called the customer care line and it went to voicemail. I signed back in March and I don’t even think my ad up is yet. Update 10/5: Someone from Direct Fairways contacted me and was able to get everything resolved!

Getting really annoyed trying to communicate a refund with this SCAM of a company. 3 years ago I was told that for $475 they were offering a special 2 year deal at one of their courses. The following year I get a call telling me I owe them $475 after a lot of debate they agree to add on a second course for the miscommunication. Now this year I am told I signed up for that second course and I owed another $475. I keep getting told they will get back to me and then they don't. They never even called to confirm the charge they just did it. Update I finally worked things out and the guy (cant remember his name) I worked with was great and really wanted to help. I suggest in the future they do a better job of having contracts that are signed so people know exactly what they are agreeing too.

I was called after opening my business for advertising at a local golf course. I was offered an ad for $375 a year which I agreed to. One year later I have been charged over $1500 and after contacting customer service was told that I had agreed to a 2 year contract for $1500 a year. No contract was provided either by mail or email and they are not willing to refund the money. I have reported to the BBB where it seems that this is an ongoing practice for this company. A complete scam and they should be shut down for such actions. Follow up: I was contacted by an account manager after posting this review and he was very helpful and nice. He researched my account and was able to offer a refund. Their practices are a bit new and they have plenty of room for improvement but I was satisfied with their solution.

UPDATE: The company reached out and made good on refunding me. I have not seen the actual advertisement product in use, however, they seemed very eager to fix their service issues and have shown a renewed good-faith effort in doing so. This company failed to deliver any advertising that they were paid to do. They were quick to take my money, even tried to illegally charge my credit card after the agreed amount was paid for, but had to have my bank reverse the charges. I tried to give the company every opportunity to make this right, Jeff Chandler gave me his phone number to call if there were any additional issues after we came up with an agreement. He had not returned any phone calls which go to a general voicemail account. They would not return any phone calls or emails. I filed a complaint with the BBB and Arizona Attorney General Office Fraud Unit. Do a search and see how many others they did not deliver what they were paid for.

I worked for this company, and I loved my job. I loved talking to all the business owners and joking around with them sometimes even if they do not buy from me. However I must take one star away because the new male floor manager is not very personable, I like the female but not so much the male. Kinda bummed I won’t be working for them anymore but I’m glad for the experience! If you consider working here I say go for it. I’ll still recommend them for a job.

After an initially difficult experience my opinions of Direct Fairways have improved because of the rightful actions of Jeff Chandler who apologized for past company mistakes while issuing a refund of my initial payment. If Direct Fairways as an organization adopts the professionalism and courtesy that Jeff extended me then my confidence would be totally restored. Thanks for doing the honorable thing Jeff.
