Came here to get lunch with a friend because she said they had some good healthy options and I would say it's just okay.
I got the Kale Side Salad to start with. Decent portion size for a side salad but the dressing was nothing extravagant. It was just so so. Parmesan and croutons on top added a lot of flavor!
Got the Forbidden Rice Poke Bowl with ½ rice, ½ cauliflower rice, and sauce on the side.
Good amount of forbidden rice in there, and good amount of actual Tuna Poke as well.
Amount of cauliflower rice and vegetables and all of that was very small though. I asked one of the employees passing by to send for the server so I could ask for some extra greens to add into the bowl, but the server never came.
The citrus ponzu sauce was decent. I thought it might be a little oily so I didn't add too much. Instead asked for some crushed chili flakes to add some flavor. It did quite a lot to the dish.
Overall a good bowl, but I could have used some more of the vegetables in there. It felt small without it.
My friend got a half salad of the Seasonal Veggie Salad (which had brussels sprouts, butternut squash and more) and she seemed to like it. I really wanted to get this salad as well, but it turned out that the vegetables were already roasted and had oil. From the nutrition menu. I saw online there was quite an amount of oil in those vegetables.
She also got a half portion of the Teriyaki Quinoa Bowl, which game with a bunch of veggies! Seems like a good nutritious option and she also seemed to enjoy this one.
