Alex and her team are great. They do a fantastic job and really care about the customers.

I was able to get a drop-off appointment the same morning that I called. They brought a cart to my car, transferred the paper to the cart, weighed the cart and got the shredding started while I paid. They were very friendly and allowed me to stay to watch the shredded paper climb the conveyor into the baler. The price per pound was half what I'd paid at an office supply store, and everything was shredded immediately for much better peace of mind.

Excellent transparency and customer service! Mark, one of the owners of this family-owned & operated business, was SUPER kind, considerate, and explained the whole process to me since it was my first visit. After he helped me haul my bags of confidential papers in a rolling cart from my car, he patiently guided me to where I could safely watch everything being shredded right in front of me. Very cool. So glad I found Shred Spot for my paper shredding/recycling and secure electronics/media disposal! I will definitely be back.

Talked with Paul on Friday July 3rd, made arrangements for pick up on Monday July 6th at 9 AM. Paul arrived at the designated time and was very courteous during the pick up. Invoice wade emailed to me within 2 hrs of the pick up. Perfect experience!

You can not beat the customer service Paul provides! I experienced a less than 4 hour turnaround from the time I called to watching him shred 20 boxes of documents at his accessible location. Very professional operation and he was sensitive to Covid-19 safety measures too. I will definitely use his services again. Thanks for being in business!!

I needed to destroy 23 boxes of miscellaneous paperwork and old bills plus several old laptops in a hurry while closing an estate/selling a house. One call to Paul at the Northbrook, IL office and I had an appointment set for a non-contact pickup of all my stuff within a day or two. I unloaded 720 lbs of paperwork and 24 lbs of electronics with convenient pickup of all from the garage, for just over $300.00 total. Paul called me back with the weight and cost and it was charged to my credit card, and the paid receipt emailed back to me in minutes. No muss, no fuss. I would use them again, and highly recommend them! They were a life-saver!

Very cost effective method to properly dispose of sensitive materials. I had them come directly to my home and pickup six boxes of sensitive materials to shred. The price ended up less expensive than I anticipated and they are very professional when they pickup the materials to shred.

I called Shred Spot this AM and a service tech came out and picked up our stuff this afternoon. We got rid of old laptops, monitors, keyboards, external hard drives, and an old desktop printer. SO glad to be rid of those things. Shred Spot was fast and professional. And reasonably priced! Highly recommended!

As soon as I pulled up and popped the trunk, I didn't lift a finger. That was a blessing, since the day before I made dozens of trips out of my office to the car. When the canvass basket was filled and weighed, I asked when would my papers be shredded. I was told immediately, then asked if I wanted to wait while it was done. For a guy who may be a skeptic about a lot of things, I simply said, no I trust you, turned and left. I realized after I left, one of the almost imperceptible factors that lifted any concerns about the papers I left at Shred Spot, was how organized the warehouse was and how clean it looked. That went a long way to reinforce my confidence in the organization. Whether it's highly personal papers or just files that are taking up space. Shred Spot is where you want to go.

Phenemonal place! No worries about staples or cardboard. I walked in with 20 lbs. They have a super wide mouth shredded and it got gobbled up in 5 minutes. Super nice, super reasonable pricing. I’ll be back!
