Working with Sam Ivy K9 Consultants is one of the best decisions our family made. Despite having another puppy and an infant at home, our life was dominated by our dog Belle. We could not trust her unless she was crated or supervised; we had to check every door and gate constantly because she would run away; and she did not come when we called her. We loved her so much, but we were beyond frustrated and knew we needed to do something to bring a little more peace into our home. We began working with our trainer Haley, and she made our training schedule work with our busy life. It definitely required hard work and sacrifices over the past few months, but we are SO happy we put in the time. Haley was with us every step of the way. She really got to know our dog Belle and helped us navigate difficult situations and cheered us on every time we saw Belle make improvements. We now have a dog who comes when we call her, hasn't chewed or destroyed anything in the house that doesn't belong to her in weeks and is even taking walks outside with us off the leash. We cannot believe the growth we've seen! The greatest achievement for us is that we now trust Belle, and she now has the freedom that we know she always wanted. This has helped our relationship with her so much. She is much more attached to us now, and we love that we get to tell her what a good girl she is instead of correcting her behaviors. It's absolutely worth the time and money as it brings long-term positive changes!

My husband and I had two dogs, a 15year old husky Shepherd mix, named Debra and a 1.5yr old German Shorthair Pointer, named Dunkel when we rescued a 3rd dog a 1.5yr old English bulldog pit mix named Daphne. When we first got Daphne everything was fine for about the first 6mos but then she started being aggressive towards Debra and reactive to other dogs when around them. It started slowly with maybe a fight in our house 1-2x a month and increased rapidly to constant with us having to use gates to keep Debra and Daphne apart. Both my husband and myself got bit breaking up fights on more than one occasion. We were at the end of our rope, we could not relax in our own home, our marriage was affected by the constant chaos. My husband was typing up a Facebook post to try to rehome Daphne when we decided try training through Sam Ivy. The change in our house once we started with Thuylinh happened pretty quickly, we realized we were the ones that needed training and the proper tools to take back control of our house. We have graduation for our dogs tonight, and have not had any incidents with the dogs in over a month they can now be in the same room and even be shown attention individually without a fight breaking out. I am so glad we decided to go through training rather than rehoming, Sam Ivy gave us our house back!

Can't even describe how thankful my mom and I are for finding Sam Ivy K9 Consultants! Haley was an absolutely amazing trainer and very flexible with my mom and I'd schedules for work. The improvement even from the first day of training was impressive. My mom and I could not be happier with the relationship we now have with Ace and can fully enjoy his company without having to be stressed with his behavior. He really is a changed dog. Miguel is an excellent & patient trainer!! He was able to teach ’us’ how to instruct our young dog the basics & to move on up to more challenging tasks. We are now more confident in taking him places where he will be challenged by people & other dogs. Miguel would spend as much time as we needed to explain & teach us how to master each new task. Miguel took a very rambunctious puppy & trained him in to a well behaved adolescent. We highly recommend Sam Ivy and Miguel as our trainer. Thank you! I came to Sam with aggression from my family husky towards males and a new puppy and they helped me train both of them. They now both listen and are the ideal pets.

So grateful that I found this training program. We were having aggression issues with one of our dogs, and we had no idea what to do, so I Googled good dog trainers. The program wasn't cheap, but it had been so worth it! I was shocked at what our pups are actually capable of, and our trainer Holli has been amazing! I love that the meetings are virtual, so we can travel or do training in different places. Can't recommend enough!

This has been the best money spent on our dogs. When we first started, Bear was constantly barking in his kennel all day and we were worried about getting evicted from our apartment, he now behaves very well in his kennel. Bret did our consultation and took his time to explain to us how the program works. We then met Holly our trainer who has been working with us and the dogs. Holly is amazing, she is patient with us and she knows exactly what to do when it comes to helping us train the dogs. We literally have two different dogs now from when we started this program about 4 weeks ago. I recommend this to everyone.

While this guy here may look like an angel, I assure you he was not! Getting a pup at 10 months old is no joke. I thought day care was the answer and he was expelled. I felt frustrated and somewhat hopeless about my new pup and I. So I reached out to sam ivy. I was matched with Holli for a trainer. Holli has been amazing- she is so patient, understanding, and encouraging. She is also very knowledgable about the training. She makes sure i understand why we are doing things which is what helps me use their training techniques. We are 6 sessions in and my pup I are so much better off. Other people have noticed as well which makes me feel like a proud mom. I 100% would recommend Holli and Sam Ivy to anyone who wants any kind of dog (or people) training!!!
