Before training with Sam Ivy, the energy in our home was chaotic and out of control. I got Maggy at 7 weeks. She is a Labrador and she's a love. The more she grew the less I knew how to address the behaviors I was seeing. I was in way over my head. She is a strong and powerful pup. Her pulling me around on the leash was taking a toll on my body. I worried that she would jump up on my father and knock him down. I was so stressed, and I felt like I was failing her. I saw results within the first week of training. Every week things got better and more manageable in our home. The bond between Maggy and I became stronger. We all began to relax, and I became confident that I was going to successfully be able to train my dog. When I got stuck and had a question or needed support, Olivia was there. She was available to me whenever I needed her. She was prompt, knowledgeable and encouraging. She was so kind and always willing to help. I appreciated her ability to communicate. Actually, every communication I had with the Sam Ivy Team was very positive and comfortable. Everything that Brett said they could deliver in our initial consultation, they delivered and more. Maggy is doing things (and not doing other things) that I didn't think possible at the time. This training has opened up Maggy's world. I can now take her out to experience new things with confidence that I have the tools and the training for both of us to be successful. I am so excited about my future with Maggy. She is a great dog! My husband and I rescued our first dog, Zoey, about a year and a half before we started training with Gina at Sam Ivy K9. We tried training with her at a large pet store and spent many hours watching videos on training, but struggled to maintain her attention. She listened to many basic commands but was timid, reactive around dogs and some people she didn’t know, and was not reliable with distractions. We decided to look into alternatives because we had dreamed of taking her along with us to as many places as we could. We found Sam Ivy online and we were intrigued. We reached out for an initial consult with Enzo and, although we were hesitant with the online format, we gave it a shot. We signed up for the Off Leash course with Gina, and were incredibly impressed by how quickly Zoey started to hone in her abilities. Within a couple of weeks we saw a huge difference in her responsiveness to us and our relationship continues to grow since. We knew Zoey was capable but we needed the right tools and methods to help us help her thrive. We now have a mutual trust with her that we never expected could come within a couple of months of training. Gina was great to work with and we would recommend this training to anyone who is able and willing to make the financial and time investment. It is well worth it!

Can't say enough good things about this program and our trainer, Holli! We needed some help with our dog interacting with our new baby and a few other behavioral problems (some dog/stranger aggression). Holli has been so helpful and has taught us so much from our very first session. She has been a pleasure to work with and brings such a bright and positive energy to every meeting. The virtual sessions have worked out better than any previous in person training we have done and we now feel that we have all the tools to set our dog up for success. Thank you, Holli! :-)

When we contacted Sam Ivy, our 2 girls had been fighting for a couple of months and being aggressive towards each other. We didn't want to get rid of them because they were apart of our family. We had no issues prior to moving into our new home with them. We called Sam Ivy and was placed with our trainer Holli. She has been so great! We learned that one of our girls was taking the alpha role and the other was not having it and we learned how to become the alpha within our pack. Our house is again peaceful and happy. The training is done completely over Zoom, so that the dogs do not see the trainer as alpha but you as the owner, and since they are in their home environment they are more comfortable. The compassion and knowledge shown by Sam Ivy and his team has been wonderful, they understand how the pups are apart of your family and strive to make your home a happy and safe environment for both you and your pup.

Amazing experience! My pack of 3 large dogs were loved and untrained. They didn't respect me as their leader. After completing the Proper Pack Behavior program with trainer, Gina, we are loved and on our way to being fully trained. As with everything, this is a process but we have the tools and skills in place. Thank you does not begin to describe my appreciation for this program and our trainer. We were able to complete training in the comfort and familiarity of our own home with Gina guiding us every step of the way. ❤️❤️

If you need your dog trained, this is the best place to get that done! We had an awesome experience with Quantreena for the last 12 weeks with our now 5 month old Chihuahua. He was nipping, and barking when he wouldn't get his way, etc. I was considering re-homing him it was so unbearable. But then came Sam Ivy! We learned proper pack training behavior for ourselves which in turn translated into now having a well behaved and loving Chihuahua puppy! We want to start out our review by saying that we will be eternally grateful to have met and worked with one of your trainers, Holli, who was kind, patient, and knowledgeable and helped us turn our beautiful, but wild out of control puppy, into a calm and wonderful companion. Without Holli's guidance we would not have been able to survive Abby's puppy hood. By the end of the first week with Abby we were exhausted, demoralized and desperate for help. Fortunately, we came upon an offer for a free consultation with your company and by the end of our session the representative promised to find us the right trainer. Right from the start Holli was calming and reassuring and it was obvious that she is a skilled trainer. She took a genuine interest in us and Abby and made herself readily available via text message. She made numerous helpful suggestions which gave us the tools to train Abby successfully. We looked forward to our sessions and will miss them when they are over, but know that Holli is only a phone call/text away if we need help. We would absolutely recommend Holli to anyone who is going through the process of training a puppy. We feel very lucky to have benefited from her knowledge and expertise. She was always pleasant, patient, and creative in her approach. Her friendliness, warmth and positive attitude made the training fun and enjoyable while we worked toward our goals. I was hesitant to sign up for training sessions but I am so glad I did!! My boy has some pretty bad habits and anxiety that I did not take control of like I should have. I didn’t think anything would help at this point. But I now realize it was mainly my lack of knowledge that led him to that point and that I wasn’t letting my boy go to his full potential. It turns out that after only a couple sessions with my trainer Holli, that my son actually enjoys working (most times haha), and that he is so much smarter than I ever knew. He is making way better decisions now than he ever has before and we are only half way through! Holli has been very responsive to my concerns and questions and is very knowledgeable. I can tell she genuinely loves what she does and her well behaved dog is proof of how awesome this training program is. Even better that you don’t even have to leave your house so there’s no added stress on my son when he’s already trying to figure things out. The program is solid and makes so much sense once you become more educated and confident. Although we still have a lot of work to do, there’s already a difference in my boys happiness. I like that I can go back and rewatch my sessions if I need to and the progress report after every class is so cute too!! Highly recommend! :)
