Jackie was an amazing trainer!!!!!!!!!!! We are so pleased with the whole process. She was reliable, always on time for the training sessions, gave us great tips, amazing with my dog, etc, etc. Thank you Jackie!!!!

I was apprehensive about signing up, especially during COVID, and how it would work. Everyone involved in the experience was quick to respond and very thorough. Our initial consultation was very informative and Enzo was super helpful and provided valuable information that we could start right away. When we signed up for classes, we got on the schedule right away. There was a clear plan of what would be happening during the sessions, as well as receiving feedback. Having the ability to access all of the information that was discussed is beneficial for when it's needed after and in between sessions. Hailey provided the expectations of the program, of us, and of Prince. I wasn't sure how the virtual sessions would work, especially with learning how to hold the leash and use the collars, but she provided great instructions over Zoom. I was also apprehensive about the walks during our sessions and how to do them via Zoom, but Hailey was able to notice everything that both us and our dog were doing and how to correct/assist us over the video call. She said would be available for us to contact her if we needed her in between sessions, and she sure was! Her responses were very timely and provided just what we needed to know to keep training our dog and bring ease to our anxiety and our dog's. With being virtual, she was still able to tell if our dog and if we were getting overwhelmed with the training and knew how to transition us back to being at ease. In the beginning, I was worried that I would have wished we did in person sessions, but Hailey made each session effective and they have been very beneficial. Since our first session, our dog has made great improvements and we couldn't be happier. Will be looking towards continuing the next set of sessions in the future.

We signed up for training at a Pet Store and then left our dog at a 2 week board and train. He was still not listening to us. I was not a fan of the idea of virtual dog training. I did not believe it would work. But the pandemic and my compromised health made any other training unwise for our family. So we gave Sam Ivy a try. I can admit when I'm wrong and boy was I wrong! Sam Ivy k9 consultants was a GREAT way to train our lab/cattle dog mix. He is a high energy puppy with guard dog like tendencies. Before we began, he barked at every noise and every person that walked by our house, he would dig in the carpet, dig on the bed, pull so hard on the leash that only my husband could walk him. He would lunge and bark at cars (and especially at trucks) on walks which was terrifying. We now have a different dog. Thanks to Sam Ivy. Our trainer, Haley was VERY responsive, patient and clear. She immediately identified that some of his behaviors were fear based. As soon as he began to know his place in the pack, he was significantly more calm, relaxed and easier to train. Any time we had a question between sessions, we would text Haley and she responded within a short time. Our classes were productive and enjoyable and she trained US to train him. We now have the tools to handle any situation with our dog. We can leave our shades up and let him look at the deer that walk in our back yard because he no longer barks at them. He does not bark at people walking their dogs by the house. He obediently walks off leash. He knows his place in our pack. He can sit and stay even when a trash truck goes by. Our mailman told us the other day that he thought our dog hated him, but now he sees he was wrong. We could not be more happy with the training we received or the life we now thoroughly enjoy with our boy. We have recommended this training to all of our dog owning friends, and we recommend Sam Ivy k9 consultants to anyone that has a dog that they are struggling to train. It was such a quick and smooth process from meeting Brett for a consultation to our first training session! Our trainer Nate was patient, assertive, and helpful and we can't thank him enough for helping us train our stubborn lab puppy! Highly recommend Sam Ivy!

We just completed the first training course, Proper Pack Behavior, with Sam Ivy K-9 Consultants. Our rambunctious Labradoodle is so much more manageable and our entire family learned how to train her. I can’t say enough about what a positive experience it was. Maribel with Sam Ivy exceeded my expectations. Not sure I knew what I was up against with getting a puppy Rottweiler. Such a sweet dog but oh my...I was reluctant to say the least, that a few sessions, especially virtually, would make me change my mind that I would need to re-home my pup. I had previously decided that maybe I wasn’t what Nina needed. I didn’t have it in me to be that alpha, that leader. I mean she only stayed a “puppy” size a week! My elderly mother recently moved in with me and I thought her growing up with my mother in the house that she would be that protector when I wasn’t around. But, the chewing on EVERYTHING, the “I don’t care what you say, I’m going to do as I please,” to the jumping on everyone and everything, including my mother, to the nipping, barking, etc, etc, darn near made me give up. But, after the very FIRST session with Maribel she showed me that Sam Ivy was the real deal. She reassured me that all would be well, actually more than well, if I followed the training and committed to putting in the work. I can go on and on, but I can honestly say that every penny I spent was well worth it. I’m quite sure all the trainers with Sam Ivy are wonderful but I can truly say that Maribel is magnificent.
