Where do I begin, well let’s start with when I got my dog neuter, I took him in for a regular checkup and as always my very big 65 pound dog was jumping everywhere didn't even listen when I spoke to him didn't care what I was trying to do, he had his own agenda. Nevertheless, I began speaking with the girl at the counter that check us in, explaining to her how much of hassle it always is to take T'Challa out and about and how hyper he always is. I spoke to her also about getting him neuter and what not, she said that she would recommend getting him neuter he would be a lot calmer. So, I dropped him off and left not even a minute later the same girl called and stated that they had availability to get him neuter that afternoon and I absolutely jumped at the opportunity. Several hours later I picked him up and of course soon as we left, he was jumping and hopping all over the place like always. He even managed to bump someone’s bag that was sitting outside the lady took one look at him and said you should get him neuter; my response of course was I just did! I walked away holding T'Challa as tight as I could to my side to prevent anyone else from getting upset. Skipped forward to the day I met my new dog trainer Blas I explained to him that I just got T'Challa neuter and how he was still the same hyper dog, as though he didn’t just get his balls removed. Blas stated to me, "That doesn't correct behavior, training corrects behavior". From the start I told Blas that T'Challa would probably never be able to do half the things he was telling me the program will help with, but I must say boy was I wrong. After several weeks of training with Sam Ivy I can say that my dog definitely didn't need to get neutered to calm him down, the training has made him so well behaved, I couldn't recognize my dog. My first experience was getting him to sit on a rug designated just for him and he would sit there for a period of time until I release him. He stays put with my niece and my little brother always running in front of him and with several other distractions going on. I'm extremely ecstatic to say that he doesn’t move, not even an inch, this training as changed things for me in such a big way. I hated having to take him to a store to train him because that training never worked, and my schedule was hectic itself so that didn’t help much. Blas worked around my schedule and was able to always accommodate me with any hip cups that might have caused me to reschedule. I must say there is no one else I would have had train my dog. The same dog that wouldn't stay put next to me when I left him out is now sitting by my foot side. Before Sam Ivy, I would just let him out in the backyard and screamed at him to come back in because walking him on a leash and collar was one of the biggest hassles, he was constantly pulling me in several different directions and not listening to me at all. But now I have him on leash and collar, he walks right next to me on the sidewalk and keeps my pace. When he needs to use the bathroom, I let him go on the grass, it is literally like night and day when it comes to where I started at the beginning of his training classes to now. Before Sam Ivy, he would jump on my niece and little brother every time I took him out to go for a walk, now he sits in front of them and licks them or he's sitting by the door waiting to go out. I am beyond amazed with how well he has done and how far he has come. Sam Ivy is the best and their methods of training my K-9 worked! If you are stuck and not sure what to do with your hyper dog, I would recommend Sam Ivy; they really took their time, trained my dog correctly, and most importantly THEY WORKED AROUND MY SCHEDULE. I couldn't be happier with the results. My hyper dog is finally getting the training he needs, T'Challa is a Labrador mixed with Pitbull, such a handful, thank you Sam Ivy for making this easy, working with my scheduled and for simply allowing me to get better control of my dog. Thank you Blas for taking the time and having patience while training T'Challa !!!!
