I want to thank Miguel, my trainer, and Sam Ivy K9 for teaching me the importance of having the skills and tools to assure a long happy life with my dog, Rudy. I thought if I read enough books and watched enough dog training videos, I could master the art of teaching my rambunctious canine to obey me. I couldn’t, because, I fell for the cuteness of a puppy. Rudy was soon training me to what he wanted. Miguel’s instructions, patience, and positive professionalism helped me conquer my insecurities about having a dog with a strong character. I was delighted to learn about Proper Pack Behavior, since this was the problem area for me. Once I started showing my dog, I was in charge, behaviors I didn’t like stated to disappear. He is calmer and likes to snuggle when I invite him. Before it was only play time and mouthing. Miguel is a professional who explained the mystery behind the the commands. I get it now. It is a pleasure to walk my dog, not a chore. It is my job to “ know what is best” for my dog. He in turn will be a great companion. Thank you so much! Looking forward to the next phase!

Excellent training by Jackie! My dog was driving me nuts by being stubborn and rambunctious. He is a big goldendoodle that is highly energetic and I wanted to find a trainer that helps me to get him under control and Jackie helped me to do just that. I had Maribel as my trainer and she was the best! Highly recommend her! She helped me train my rottweiler puppy who was a tearing up everything he is now calm and no longer bites. I did the on leash program but we had so much progress that I was able to move to off leash by my self!

Sam Ivy was a great company to work with for our Mini Schnauzer, Auggie. Our trainer was Gina and she was absolutely incredible, knowledgeable, and friendly. Prior to training, Auggie had some problem behaviors with excessive barking when he saw other dogs during walks and with mouthing during play. Gina took the time to train US on how to effectively correct these behaviors when they occurred. Fast forward just a few weeks later and Auggie has his barking under control and the mouthing is completely GONE. Sam Ivy’s method was proven and effective. Would recommend Sam Ivy 100%. Thank you!

I can't believe how quickly we have my labradoodle puppy working off leash! Our trainer, Miguel, is very patient and always explains the training lessons in detail. He makes sure we understand why each step is important and lets us know how each step is connected. Our 7 month old puppy has been working with Miguel for less than two months and already did heal and stay outside without a leash! Although we had been through training with our previous pack, I was at a loss as to what I was doing wrong with this one. My husband found Sam Ivy and they heard the need in my voice on the phone. Within days we had our consult and first training session . I am so grateful to have found this company! I strongly recommend Sam Ivey K9 consultants. Our trainer Joel helped fix Lola. She was a hot mess. I told him I did not believe it could be done. But i was wrong. I was able to text with issues and he promply returned my texts. Joel is the best of the best . Thanks again Joel for helping us get a well behaved dog.
