Maribel was an amazing trainer. Fantastic personality and full of energy. Really helped us out with our 2 dogs. Very pleased with our training. Would recommend her to everyone. Spot is life!! It’s so great to be able to cook and and eat dinner without 2 dogs under your feet.

I have a 1 year old golden retriever who is the sweetest things on the planet. My plan is to have her trained so I can take her to nursing homes and children's hospitals. However, before we started training with Sam Ivy, I could not even walk her without nearly being dragged down the street. It was very discouraging and I dreaded walking her. She was extremely excitable and impulsive around new people and had little awareness/respect for personal space. I would say within 1-2 visits of training, my pup was walking almost perfect at my side and she learned how to control her behavior so quickly. I am extremely pleased with the results. Shout out to Joel our trainer- he is fantastic :) Cannot wait to proceed to the next level of training!

After five year of trying, thousands of dollars, and 5 different trainers, in and out of house, who all told us our 130 pound Rottweiler was not trainable, we decided to try one more time to train our Cody. After extensive research, we chose the Sam Ivy K9 Consultants training program and are totally amazed, satisfied, and extremely grateful to trainer Jackie for teaching us how to train our Cody and allowing us to better enjoy our pet when at home, around other people, and other pets. Maribel was an extremely knowledgeable kind and dedicated trainer. I have two dogs that were unruly- one of them was dog aggressive on leash and the other was destructive in the house after 7 years and multiple prior attempts at training. Maribel and Sam Ivy have changed my life. I didn’t believe that I would ever be able to walk my dog without other people rolling their eyes at me and crossing the street. After a few short weeks I am already able to walk them TOGETHER and that is just the start of the progress they have made!! Thank you Maribel!

I would like to thank Sam ivy and Miguel for what they helped us accomplish with our 2 dogs peanut and junior. Our youngest dog junior had bad aggression towards people and our other dog peanut was very stubborn and never had any training before. Sam came out for the free consultation and told us that junior could become a different dog with training. At first we were skeptical and didn’t think it was possible because we had tried everything before. We were teamed with Miguel who was patient, polite and punctual. All of our sessions went great. Our dogs have come a long way in such a short time and we couldn’t be any happier with the results. We now have the tools and training needed to remain alpha and have our boys live the right way.

I have a year old shihtzu/schnauzer mix (named Teddy) and my girlfriend has a 17 month old rat terrier/min pin mix (named Berlin).. Before coming to Sam Ivy, they each had a handful of behavioral issues. We were very impressed with the presentation from Claudia at Sam Ivy. She went over the program and answered every question we had. We felt confident in moving forward. Frankie was our trainer and with her help Teddy and Berlin are completely different dogs in just a few months! Frankie was very confident in her approach to teaching us what to do, and instilled that confidence in us as we worked throughout the trainings. Teddy was a huge barker, literally barking anytime someone came into the house, or when he played with other dogs, even when he wanted food that humans were eating. Teddy doesn’t bark at all in those situations anymore!! Berlin had some issues with barking at children and that is no longer an issue! When we walk our dogs they do not ‘pull’ us anymore (an issue that Teddy had) and instead walk side by side with us. Using the knowledge we learned we are now able to train our dogs on any other thing we want! The training helped our dogs but it also helped train us! We'll remember these tips forever. We can’t thank Frankie and Sam Ivy enough for their help. I highly recommend them.

We cannot recommended Sam Ivy K9 enough to our friends with pets. Frankie was our trainer and she helped us with one of our beagles who had strong aggression toward other dogs. It got so bad that he almost attacked another dog, and that's when I began a search for help. I found Sam Ivy K9 Consultants and after several weeks I am happy to say our beagle can walk by and even be in an elevator with other dogs and not flip out - but most important not attempt to attack. It's such a relief! THANK YOU SAM IVY!

He has made a dramatic change in his behavior and now sits on spot and obey commands as directed. And yes he's no longer walking me.
