Christian could not have been more helpful in assisting my wife, Shara, and me with our occasionally stubborn yet immensely lovable Shih Tzu, Eddie, as we navigate life with a new baby. At 7 years old, Eddie needed a combination of consistent commands, structured training sessions and positive reinforcement. We received all that and more from Christian, who provided a step-by-step guide to understanding Eddie's personality and addressing his problem behaviors. With a new baby and a recent move, there’s been a lot of change in Eddie’s life, but he is adjusting remarkably well thanks to his hard work—and Christian’s expert guidance!

Signing up for training with Sam Ivy K9 Consultants is the best investment I have made. I already had 2 dogs when my son moved home with his dog ‘Ari’. Ari became aggressive with my dogs and visitors to our home, she was also a handful to take on walks.. It was becoming overwhelming, we needed help. After doing some research we signed up with Gina at Sam Ivy Training. We were skeptical at the idea of training through Zoom and using “collars”, however it has worked brilliantly. Gina has been fantastic, patiently guiding us through each step and being available on call as needed. Our household is now relaxed, we have re-gained control, all dogs love being in each others company and walks are now a pleasure. I can’t thank Gina and Sam Ivy K9 consultants enough.

I never thought PePe would be able to learn to behave, especially in such a short time! Holli, with SamIvy, was incredible in teaching us how to work with PePe. He used to attack my husband and now they are best friends! PePe now sleeps in his crate at night and doesn’t make a peep. I highly recommend SamIvy for all of your dog training needs. Not having an “in person” trainer made perfect sense to us.

As Sheldon was approaching five years old, his reactivity was getting out of control. We reached out to Sam Ivy and were matched to Christian, and our experience has been incredible. Christian really took the time to understand the issues we were experiencing and methodically worked with us. We are five weeks into the program and Sheldon is a different dog - confident, obedient, and even more playful and happy. We highly recommend Christian and the Sam Ivy program!

So happy I found this dog training group! I have tried several dog trainers for my older Yorkie mix and nothing worked! My dog is about 7-8 years old, very reactive to other people and dogs. She almost bit a dog about 3 weeks ago and that’s when I called SamIvy! I’ve been working with Ryann (she is amazing) and for the first time in two years I was able to walk my dog down the side walk, towards another dog, without any barking or reactivity! I am still in shock that this was even possible! Ryann walks me through every step of the way and makes it so easy! My dog has changed entirely! From inside reactivity to outside reactivity! Before I was running back inside whenever anyone walked by and now I’m able to walk outside with ease! This program is worth it! Highly recommend!

I started my journey not having a clue what to do with my boy. He is my first puppy, to train myself. (I’ve had pups before but parents did the training.) I knew I wanted to eventually have him certified but I didn’t want to pay $$$$. Sam Ivy was the first link to pop up, After seeing nearly 1,000 amazing 4 star reviews I was convinced this was the way to go. I immediately called and set up an appointment. (Being that it was a Saturday I was surprised they picked up immediately to help) Copper was 4 months old when we started, we just moved back in with my parents and 2 crazy dogs and his behavior was unruly. Brad paired us with Ryan ❤️ She’s a godsend! If I had any questions out side of training she would answer immediately. She’s very patient with Copper and the other dogs that came in to visit. Copper exceeded both our expectations and it was like he found his calling. He is now 6 months and is doing amazing with the first package. SamIvy has worked wonders with dog Loki. I really like how they mail you the tools and give you the necessary lessons to go back to for review. Additionally, I’ve had trainers in the past who weren’t sympathetic with my schedule but SamIvy understood my concerns and worked to ensure I was matched with a trainer who understands my needs/goals. My trainer is Holli and she is the best. I feel comfortable working with her and I love how she includes her dog Brody as a demonstration whenever we do our lessons.
