I enrolled my chocolate lab pup Brody in Sam Ivy intermediate on leash training. We graduated and moved onto off leash...my dog is amazing!! Sam Ivy paired us with Alexis who was absolutely awesome, she was truly the best. We met three times a week and each time it was such a pleasure working with her. Not only is Alexis knowledgeable about dog training she is so passionate about working with animals and helping the owner be the best they can be. Brody is a superstar and I never thought I would be able to walk my dog OFF LEASH!! It is awesome!! Sam Ivy Dog training rocks and so does Alexis!!

HUGE shout out to the Sam Ivy team and our trainer, Ryann, for all of her guidance. She really turned our lives around. Before Ryann and Sam Ivy, Sherlock here, hated everyone. People, other dogs, squirrels, etc. We couldn't do anything with him without stimulating his aggression. He brought us nothing but anxiety and frustration. Even considered returning him to a shelter. After 3 weeks of training with Ryann, hes a completely different dog! We can walk him with no problems and play without fear of aggression. Its such a weight lifted. These guys know what they're doing, trust me. I've got a testimony to prove it!

I met Claudia at an event and from that moment when we saw Chico we decided that we wanted her to train hercules and it was definitely the best decision we could have made! claudia is an excellent coach always willing to help us and now thanks to the program and its dedication we have an amazing service dog !!! Gina was awesome!! Bentley (my pup) was only about 2 months old when we started and this whole experience lasted about a month and a half but it’s made a world of a difference. Gina came to my apartment and we started working inside before working outside. We got the basics down pretty quickly but I give a ton of credit to the methods we used. I feel so much more at peace with raising my pup now that we’ve gone through this training. You don’t realize how making minor tweaks to your routine can have major results in your everyday interactions with your pup. (Ex: just how you hold the leash!) as a first time dog owner, I would TOTALLY recommend taking advantage of this. Is it a bit pricy? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes! Invest in your pup and you’ll be happy you did! I know I am!

We called Sam Ivy a few months ago when we brought DJ home, he was 8 weeks old and the cutest puppy ever. We didn’t know how to train him as it’s our first puppy. Even thou he was very well behaved we were struggling to get proper obedience and potty training. We decided to call Sam Ivy k9 continuing at 12 weeks and it was the best decision ever. We got Alexis as our trainer and she has been amazing to work with. She has a great personality and has been very patient and explained every step to the detail we have needed. I told her that I would need more the training myself and she really has helped me understand how to give commands and how to make DJ the best dog ever. Our DJ also loves her too. We have learned how be in different environments and how to help DJ gain confidence even with simple things as going down steps. Our dog, Chico, is literally the cutest dog ever BUT he was also a very chaotic dog. In the two years we've had him, he has escaped and run away 30 times. During these escapes, he has torn his paws and has been aggressive with a couple dogs, resulting in vet bills and legal fines. He was an excessive barker and jumper. We could not have family and friends over because of that. Taking him on walks was a nightmare. He would pull out of all collars and harnesses. Pulling on the leash and barking at everything. That all changed when Jackie started training our Chico. It's been 10 sessions and he is a completely different dog. He is FINALLY a good boy!! We can have the pizza delivered to the house without him barking. We can keep the door open and Chico won't try to run out. We can bring in groceries without worrying. We can have people over without Chico jumping on everyone. Thank you, Jackie!!! He does not pull while on a leash anymore. We are currently doing advanced on-leash training and it's been a dream. We'll review again at the end of this training to update :) I super recommend Sam Ivy. I wish we had found them sooner!
