I have been going to this practice since 2013. It used to be Black owned and the owner attended my church and knew my family. From 2013 to now I have lived all over the place but I would travel to this practice as I had a close personal connection. Sometimes from as far away as Norfolk, VA. Since then I believe the practice has been sold and is under new management. Anyway, their payment system is garbage. They have hounded me for months about a $49 balance on my account from 5 months which I paid online. I provided them with the payment reference number from the receipt that was emailed to me and they researched the payment and “couldn’t find it” instead of just waiving the balance which had OBVIOUSLY already been paid which is evidenced by the receipt that I had in my email they continued to hound me. They had a manager call me and state that the card never went through, which was a complete lie.. again I HAVE A PAID RECEIPT IN MY EMAIL COMPLETE WITH PAYMENT CONFIRMATION NUMBER. So I paid the balance AGAIN and canceled all upcoming appointments.. decent practice. BAD BUSINESS ACUMEN!! I will be finding a new dentist closer to where I currently reside in Fredericksburg VA. UPDATE: After seeing my review they reached out to me and offered to do my cleaning and that any dental work that I needed after that would be on the house. After my cleaning, I did not need any fillings or anything that had a cost. A they credited my account $200 towards anything in the future. They also explained that there billing was done off site, but because of the amount of complaints they were receiving they decided to do it in house instead. Glad to see the change and that they seemed to have a genuine desire to make the situation right. I have since referred my sons mother to the practice.

I had the best experience at Serenity Dental. It was a very swift experience with all warming staff. I went for an extensive procedure and left like brand new. Dumfries is definitely a place to go if you want top service with a family vibe along with experience true professionalism within tooth education! I highly recommend I’m from out of town but coming back because of how amazing the work is and how fast efficient and professional everything went. Take my word, they took care of me!

I used to hate going to the dentist but Dr.Sharzad and his staff changed that for me. This is one of the cleanest and friendliest practices I’ve been to. As someone who is new to the area, I went through a couple other dentists in Virginia so it’s nice to finally find a practitioner I want to stick with. The doctor and his staff made me feel so comfortable. Their front desk was extremely friendly and organized, I was able to fill out my forms online prior to my appointment which made the check in process super efficient. I came in for a cleaning and x-ray, which was painless and easy, the doctor was informative and thorough about what needed to be done about my old fillings, not to mention I was in and out within a timely manner. I highly recommend their clinic and will be back to finish my treatment.
