The water in our house stopped working on a Sunday afternoon, we called JH Barlow for an emergency call. Justin r. and Rich T. came over and determined that it was our well pump. They gave us a complete rundown of what they would be doing and started the job. Rich kept us posted when the pipe broke and fell back down, but both Rich and Justin were persistent and they fished it back out. They both worked very hard to complete the job, and the end result was that we had our water back all on a Sunday afternoon.
I would highly recommend J.H Barlow, they are a great company that does the job right and is very respectful to the customer. And I just want to tell Justin R and Rich T. thank you for your hard work.

Called on a Friday afternoon, they showed up in an hour and discovered a broken wire within minutes. Mike and Rich tackled the problem and we had water again!

These guys are great!On a Saturday night lost water,I called at 6.00pm,in 15 min got a call back, Talked to Mike,he said he would be there in an hour,Yes he was, my tank in the basement for the well had pinhole in it.He replaced the tank,and i had water again in less then 2 hours!We have used Barlow for over 20 years now,I have and will recommend them to anyone.Thank you Mike and Barlow for the great service! Called them on a Friday night after 8 pm and had no well water. They called me back right away with a couple things to try and fix on my own as they had pictures of my water system and could direct me where to look. None worked and they were here at 9 am the next morning as promised. Rich and Dennis were very nice and walked me through the troubleshoot process. Ended up replacing well pump as it was clogged with 35 years of crud. They had everything with them which was very nice. Very happy customer and would recommend them to anyone.

I cannot say enough about these guys, they were the best! Came out on July 4th and replaced my water pump like the pros they are. It was so hot but they got it done quickly and answered all my questions. Mike and Pat, Thank you for all you did for us that day!! You're the best! Now, onward with laundry, dishes and showers lol!!! Thanks again!

The guys came out on a Sunday morning and I thought my pump went. With in 3 minutes they realized it just lost prime and primed it for me. It cost 1/10 of what the pump and foot valve would have been. Great honest hard working gentleman! Couldn't be happier!

Mostly good experience with J. H. Barlow. We bought a home in 2021 that already had their water softener system installed. Unfortunately, they had made the water softener discharge into the septic, which the inspector said could damage the septic. J. H. Barlow had it in their records something different, but when they came to our house saw that their records were incorrect.
The first winter, the discharge line froze - specifically, the part J. H. Barlow installed. Instead of fixing it, they used a torch to unfreeze it and put an insulation sleeve around the pipe. It kept freezing and still does.
So, mostly, they do good work. This one issue has been a real pain, because when the pipe freezes the discharge comes back and nasty water fills up our brine tank. They clearly installed something incorrectly with the discharge, but either haven't wanted to really fix it or don't know how.
We still use them for other services. As I said, they generally do good work.
