A wonderful local spot with the kindest people. Michele is so kind, organized, and remembers EVERYONE. Alexis is an incredible barista and makes amazing drinks! As an allergy person, I feel at home and warmly taken care of there.

Imagine Etsy and Starbucks got together and had a vegan baby, That would be Batter & Crumbs! Dude when oversight, we did not have our Thanksgiving dinner that we had pre-ordered from another restaurant. Frantic because we were leaving Philadelphia to drive back to Miami, we were so thankful to find this cute little coffee shop for our last vegan meal in the city. The owner Paul was very kind and send us off with a few extra pastries once we told him our tale of trouble. We ordered breakfast sandwiches for lunch and another set for breakfast the next day since we were planning to stay at a truck stop. I was surprised to see they had vegan pumpkin pies left over. They tasted better than any I'd ever had before made with traditional ingredients! While we were enjoying our meal, Paul surprised us. He found one last gobbler sandwich that was not sold. That was their Thanksgiving special so he warmed it up for us and cut it into thirds. The sliced vegan turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing with just a little cranberry sauce was like Thanksgiving party in your mouth all in one sandwich! The baked goods were all delicious and I have to recommend the Captain crunch bar! We all enjoyed it very much as a snack on the drive. Thank you to Paul and the staff for making our Thanksgiving memorable! This will be the first place we return to when we come back to Philly next year!

We came across this place for a vegan Thanksgiving lunch/dinner as we forgot to pick-up our pre-order at Luhv's. The workers there were so sweet and welcomed us since our first back-up was also close today. We had their breakfast burritos, southwest burritos, breakfast sandwhich, and their sunsmoke bisque. All of which were spectacular. Their banana bread and pumpkin spice lattes were also a hit! The owner, Paul, treated us to their very last Gobbler sandwich, which was the highlight of the meal. We ordered plenty of pastries and were given some. We appreciate the generous hospitality from the crew at Batter and Crumbs, it saved our Thanksgiving!

This is one of the best bakeries in Philadelphia, not just among vegan bakeries either. Amazing food, every single item in the store is vegan! The pastries, the treats, the cheese steaks, the burritos, the breakfast sandwiches , the full sized cakes, all the amazing coffee drinks, just WOW! A neighborhood icon truly! Everyone inside is also very nice and friendly, love this place so much.

Food taste great. Its a great place to take a friend who may not be vegan but willing to try vegan dishes. The cheese steak is amazing and the spinach pastry is addictive. Its a small quiet place.. Always let them heat you food efen if its to go because their oven adds the perfect crisp. They close very early and parking is a hit or miss

Can’t recommend Batter & Crumbs enough as a: 1) Eatery - literally everything I’ve had here has fallen on the spectrum of “ooh this is good” to “wow this is the best breakfast burrito ever” 2) 3rd Place - wonderful, kind staff. Fun, colorful decor. Comfortable, productive siting spaces. Crazy good aux—I’ve added like 10 songs just from their playlist. 5/5 3) Cafe - I haven’t had as many of their drinks but every one I’ve had has been delicious. They do an awesome job of keeping the drinks menu evolving and updated with seasonal themes. Give it a shot!
