I had been looking for a vegan bakery to purchase a cake from around two weeks ago. I discovered Batter & Crumbs, and after checking out their Instagram & reading some reviews, I knew they would be a great choice! I ordered a nine-inch cake, chocolate cake with vanilla icing, and my god it was delicious! The design was beautifully done, and not to mention the cake was a major hit at the party! I have been vegan for some time, and this bakery is the real deal! Any cakes I need from now on will be purchased from Batter & Crumbs! (:

Amazing food and customer service! They were out of something I ordered for delivery and were happy to substitute throw in a free brownie and apology. I really appreciated this gesture. The vegan scene in Philly is top notch, and Batter & Crumbs is definitely one of the best!

I love this Bakery & Cafe. I’ve been vegan for over a decade and I have dreamed about a place like this one. The coffee is the best I’ve ever had and the pastries and items are simply delicious. My favorite is the Spinach Jawn - so good! The employees are incredibly nice and genuinely care about you. They also do great collabs with rescues like the Stray Cat Relief Fund, so it makes you feel even better to go there and spend your money. 100% recommended for vegans and non-vegans.

I can’t say enough good things about Batter! We live just around the corner and pop in 2-4x a week.
The staff is friendly & welcoming, the drink specials and regular coffee are delicious, they frequently give back to the community, they feature other Philly vegan chefs and they make so many pastries in house! We will be hiring them for our wedding cake we love the food & staff so much

“Leave the gun, take the cannoli.” I took the cannoli, monte cristo, crunch wrap, cupcakes, and a few others. They were all great! The staff was friendly and very helpful. I wish we had these guys in NC.
