Amazing vegan cafe and bakery - we had planned to check out Batter & Crumbs during our trip to Philadelphia as we had read good things - and were so pleased we did! It exceeded our expectations and we went back twice!!! The coffee and hot chocolate was excellent (highly recommend the pumpkin spiced latte), and amazing to have so much choice for vegan savoury bakes and pastries! We had the McCrumb, the ham and cheese croissant and the bacon and cheddar turnover. All were amazing - my particular favourite was the turnover! We also had the hot cinnamon bun and the cannoli which were equally delicious. The only thing better than the food was the staff - everyone was so friendly, gave excellent recommendations and genuinely seemed to care about their customers and make sure everyone had a good experience. We love checking out vegan places when we travel and Batter & Crumbs is up there with one of our fave finds - when we come back to Philly, we will definitely be back!!!
