Super fun day with Alanna! We played with her Lego’s, read some books and since it was beautiful outside we were able to go for a refreshing walk. Caroline was super helpful as always. Can’t wait to come back!

The church is really large. Donna was very nice. Was in an infant room with one other woman (also nice/fun to work with) we had two infants. Talked with parents, very straightforward. Fed infants food provided by parents, played with toys, sang songs, read books. Good atmosphere, nice feel, am willing to return.

Dunwoody prep was wonderful the staff was very welcoming and kind and willing to work with my schedule!!! All the kids were so sweet and fun. I had a blast and would definitely come back.

Isaac and I played hide n seek( he’s very good) trolls trouble, Othello, legos and read a bit! We also worked his verse! Isaac is a great teacher when it comes to games I would sit for the sit for this family again.

Before heading over today, Mrs. Olson explained the expectations of the day wonderfully. She let me know that I'd be arriving when little Asher would still be napping and that he may need a little time to warm up. He was a little sad to hear that mom was about to leave but I had brought out and set up some activities including a chalk paint set I had from home where we painted on a canvas different colors and made name art!
After this, Asher and I had a potty break and proceeded to play downstairs where we played with some of his toy cars/airplanes at the table. We had fun playing together and I found that it was rather easy to make him giggle just being silly or making silly sounds while playing with the toys in my hands (airplane sound for an airplane, ambulance noise, etc.) which he would sometimes mimic and seems to really enjoy learning new words and phrases. He is considerate in the sense that if you fall or were to bump your knee he asks if you are okay. He gets really excited about doing fun things and may leave the room abruptly but will pause if you let him know you need a second to catch up. And he's real helpful to show you where things are if he wants something such as a snack, high up book on a shelf, his tablet, etc.
I really had a fantastic time today and look forward to next time!

Mr. & Mrs. Olson are very nice people! They've been clear on instructions and a pleasure to work with this week in taking care of Asher who is an absolute sweetheart! Earlier this week I when I first met him on Tuesday it was a little bit of a shy time from him and took him a little bit to get use to the new face in the house, but with the advice that he loves his toy cars/trucks we've been able to play very well together in leaps and bounds!
It's so easy to make him smile if you can crack a funny joke or make fun noises he warms up really well! This has been helpful for when he thinks about mom and starts to miss her/want to see her. He likes to do things to keep busy and plays well once he has an idea for something he might want to create/build with his toys.
Today, for instance, we were able to read some books. He LOVES his ''My Truck is Stuck!'' by Kevin Lewis. I'd brought over a treasure trove collection of PawPatrol/Blaze the Monster Truck'' book series he has enjoyed! He'll listen and cuddle nicely.
He may need a reminder now and then to try to go potty and is getting better at letting others know or if his timer is available, you can use this to let him see visually how much time he has before it's time to try again.
I'm enjoying my time taking care of Asher and look forward to my return here tomorrow! This is a family that is a real delight to work with!
