I paid for everything they had to offer including the paternal which had to be refunded in the end. The DNA ancestry was pretty cool going from recent to advanced the timeline was really cool and amazing to look at it was overall very interesting and easy to understand and go through.
I also chose the one that had health testing and whatnot involved. I can't say everything was correct and I understand a lot of it is just speculation and guesswork but a lot of it ended up fairly correct either way. It was fun to read how they come to the conclusions they do as well as the cool tidbits of info they offer with everything you pay for to do. Definitely recommending to family and friends as well. Have been doing so since receiving my results.
Ever since I was a kid ive been wondering about my family history. I've always been told I'm a slight handful of European ancestry and eventually I just came to accept that. UNTIL I came across CRI Genetics. The test was so easy, and my results came back super quick. Its so amazing what they could confirm about my allergies and even my eye color. But what they told me about my family's heritage blew me out of the water. MIND BLOWN. I'm so happy that I now have the answers to my questions about my family's past. I literally had NO idea. I am so happy to finally know where I come from. I HIGHLY recommend CRI. They are quite literally the best DNA researcher out there.
It went back to actually the 1700’s and I found out places ancestors were from we didn’t know about. My dad has done genealogy but only back about 4-5 generations so this topped it off very nicely and the mother gene ancestors- my mom had no clue. This was exactly what I needed. Something which extended back further. Of course those ancestors are dead but sure was nice to see where they came from originally.
Yes, according to some paperwork that was done by some of my other ancestors my CRI genetic test came out to match the paperwork so yes I was very pleased and then I learned more about my native American history so overall it was a win-win situation and in fact it goes into extensive research and goes back very far and it gives much more details than any other tests that I know of highly recommend
I was fascinated to see the diversity in my dna . The peruvian mummy really surprised me.
I am not fully understanding hapalogroups.
Also, I want to know what FIN, CEU, etc means. I assumed it means Finnish and central European
I had a few surprises in my genealogy. However, I was offered tests to purchase that couldn’t be processed because of my gender. I wish that they didn’t offer for you to pay for a test that they cannot process. That was wasted money. I found it purposely misleading. But CRI has the best reputation for testing and guarantees.
