Fitted CRTD4 to my Mercedes E350d (W212) following a good experience with my earlier E320 Cdi (W211) using the CRTD2.
Locating and fitting the wiring loom near the turbo at the bulkhead was a little awkward - but the tech support team were able to help by phone and email with additional diagrams (on this V6 engine there is another connector on the car which looks similar to the boost sensor).
As with my previous, the torque and performance benefits were immediately evident. However, after some weeks of different driving circumstances, I concluded that when my car was in default Economy mode, when not driving aggressively, gear changes were a little sluggish in traffic. In Sports mode, gear changes and accelerator response much better - but at maximum output accelerating at high speed on motorways, a slight engine hunting was evident at box setting 7.
TDI agreed to look at the installation at their Chelmsford premises (FOC) which I though would be worth the 70 mile e/w drive for me. The tech team made some mapping adjustments with the box and, so far after 6 weeks, all seems much better.
I understand that there is an online mapping update service via the Bluetooth interface in development which would be a great advantage to customers who don't live close to a TDI centre.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the product and service from TDI-Tuning and I can't imagine owning a car anymore without a box fitted!
