The Ostrich fern roots arrived timely and appeared freshly dug up. I planted them right away the same afternoon they arrived, just ahead of storm Fay and they had a very thorough soak for almost 24hrs.
Will report on how they are doing and can’t wait till next Spring to see how they come up.

I ordered Christmas ferns and Pennsylvania Sedge. They arrived very fast and were very well packaged! The bare-root ferns had plenty of roots, and the sedge plugs were green and healthy looking. Obviously there's no way to know whether plugs and bare roots will live through the winter, so it's a good thing this nursery offers a 1-year guarantee, which gives peace of mind
