Got AT on all categories for PMP exam! After lots of research, I came across the PrepCast Course and Exam Simulator. I can confidently say that the Simulator provides the best chance of you being well prepared for the actual exam. I found the actual exam to be significantly easier than the simulator, which I believe is ideal for preparation (better to be over prepared than under prepared). For the best chance at passing on your first try, I highly recommend the PrepCast PMP course, as well as the exam simulator.

It totally worth the investment - period. I didn't take my first exam very seriously and I failed. I then applied to PM PrepCast, went through the lessons, reviewed in the PM BOK, took notes, took plenty of practice questions and 3 exams (passed with difficulty: 80%, 73%, 70%) - in my real exam: I passed with Above Target for all. I found the questions much simpler in the real exam and less tricky. I had tried purchasing audio books previously, but could not follow and learn anything valuable - with PM PrepCast, I was able to grab a good part of the knowledge, while taking a walk. Obviously, being seated on a desk and looking at slides is much more effecient. I did think there could be improvements - maybe one can do on his own to better grasp the material: some kind of flow chart for every project document, dependencies between project documents, couple of real world examples to illustrate the processes from A to Z, etc. Go for it, work hard and good luck!

I have passed with Above Target in all domains, thanks to Project Management PrepCast. One major observation in both the PreCast and the PMP CERTIFICATION exam is the similarity in their continued use of distractors in some of their questions. The vagueness in PreCast questions is the same vagueness you will find in your Certification Exam, also the same ratio of agile questions to the predictive questions. I realised that one other important point for one to be successful in PMP CERTIFICATION exam is to master the last part (key phrase) of the question which usually centres a lot on the project manager's expected action to ''solve a problem or just the anticipated next step from a certain action''. That key word or phrase might have nothing to do with the whole narration or vice versa which usually forms the bigger part of the whole question. For practice purposes you might try to answer ten questions or so by just going straight to the last part (the real question and ignore the narration/distractor) and see if it can work for you as it did for me. please note that NOT all questions have distractors as some are very direct. Pay greater attention to the real question. Thanks

Really recommend the prepcast for anyone looking at taking the PMP exam. The questions in the exam simulator is pretty challenging but I love how it gives you good reasoning why its the correct or incorrect answer. I passed my PMP with above target, through using the prepcast PMP material, especially the exam simulator. I ended up doing around 2000 questions. With a busy schedule, I was able to choose the number of questions I want to do each round and I chose to do 10-20 each day and more over the weekends to keep me focused. The exam simulator is also good that it gives you a breakdown of which areas need more work. I focused the last few days on the weaker areas. Wishing everyone taking the PMP good luck!

A must have tool for exam prep. The PMP exam is comprised primarily of situational questions, many that do not lend themselves to clear text-book answers. You need to expose yourself to many examples of these situational questions in order to learn how to apply the foundational knowledge provided in the PMBOK and other process based resources. This simulation offers 4 full-length, timed exams, as well as 1 ITTO based exam and numerous customizable quizzes. After completing an exam you can review your results. These results provide the original question, a hint to the answer, an explanation of the scenario being described, and explanations of why each answer is right or wrong. This is an invaluable tool for anyone looking to familiarize themselves with what the PMP exam will look and feel like. Good Luck!

I had a wonderful experience in writing the PMP in September and predcast was a big part of that. The simulations are very good and if you are able to score above 70% on your 1st attempt on the simulations then you are more than ready. What I like about it, is that the explanations are detailed and refer to where you can locate it in the PMBOK. I believe this is the best measuring tool out there for this exam. I don't think there are short cuts for preparing, especially if you are really trying to learn the theory behind projects. Spend time learning the material, so you can go through it just once. Also, invest in resources that will break down the content to your level of understanding, it makes the experience a lot more easier and actually pushes you to study. Build momentum and leverage it as best as possible, so by time you get to the second half of the content, you still have the strength to push though. I spent about 3 hours each day for about 2 months and that was sufficient, as I scored above target in all areas. I wrote the exam from home and I was happy to noticed you have an optional 10 minutes break after each 60 questions. All the best for those who are preparing for their exam and if you are using predcast, you are already on track for success.

Couldn't imagine a better tool to prepare for the PMP. Prepcast plus the additional practice exams not only had the content (and then some) to cover the material in an easy to understand and well formatted way, but the exam question mirrored the real thing perfectly with an easy to use way of tailoring your areas of focus and understanding what your strengths and weaknesses specifically are. I passed the test the first try with above target in all areas and (once I got the detailed exam results back) realized I scored at the very top of the spectrum... and I attribute this 100% to this program (minus my own studying and diligence of course). This program won't guarantee anything or gift you the certification because that thing is the real deal, but this is as prepared as you can get. Additionally, the mobility and ability to access this on the go was key to me, I travel every other week so being able to open this in an airport, on the plane (downloaded), or at the hotel just as easily as I could at home in the office was crucial for me.
