We took home our sweet Apollo in October 2022 and life has just been incredible with him. He has the funniest personality and lots of energy and loves to snuggle and be kissed. He loves attention and is the most popular dog at our apartment because of how cute and friendly he is. People know him before they know us! I would recommend Farmstead to anyone who wants a Golden Retiever!

We found our perfect Golden puppy at Farmstead. We had been following them on social media for a while and finally decided it was time. We met 4 different puppies and our sweet Kirby chose us. He is very sweet, so smart and just the best boy. We had a great experience with John and Sadie. Thank you for the perfect addition to our family.

We got our Golden Retriever puppy Bruno in July 2022 from Farmstead. He has a great temperament, is in excellent health, and is a happy dog! He is going on 15 months old now and we are as just as happy with him now as we were when we first got him a year ago. We also have a small older dog, and Bruno gets along great with him. John and Sadie are very professional and great at what they do, and it shines through in their puppies. Yes, this is their livelihood, but it is clear they really care for all of their puppies and it is not 'just a job' to them.They really pay attention to detail, and provided us with a wealth of info on food, general training tips, potty training, crate training, etc. when we made our purchase. I would recommend them to anyone. If we decide to add to our 'pack' in the future, we would definitely purchase another puppy from Farmstead.

We could not love our Boston Terrier, Oreo, any more! We got her just about two years ago now, and she has been a joy. Finding responsible breeders is not easy these days, but John and Sadie are responsible, caring and compassionate. They care about their dogs and go out of their way to make sure that their pups are placed in just the right home. I would (and have) recommend them highly.

We are so happy with our experience at Farmstead! There was open communication from day one and walked us through everything we needed to know about raising a great and healthy golden pup! Our sweet almost 6 month golden girl Zoey is the perfect addition to our family. She is lovable, fun, healthy, and so so smart (I would say valedictorian of puppy kindergarten but I may be bias 😊)! Highly recommend this reputable breeder!

I had a dog shaped whole in my heart ever since I was a child and 2 years ago Farmstead gave me the bestest first dog/first child I could have ever hoped for. Theodore is my everything and he’s so smart and handsome and gentle and kind and perfect. He’s everything I’ve ever wanted in a best friend and I would change a thing about him for the world. He’s the happiest Golden Boy and I love him with my whole soul.

We could not be happier with our Boston Terrier from John and Sadie at Farmstead Kennels. They matched us with the perfect dog for our family. We visited the kennel and it is pristine. The animals there are exceptionally well cared for. Our new pup came to us well socialised and in excellent health. John and Sadie remain available to help with any questions or concerns we have.

I bought our golden girl Scout from Farmstead roughly two years ago... John and Sadie are thorough and caring owners and were a pleasure to work with. Scout is now just under two years old and she has the sweetest temperament and gets along with all other dogs and children. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Our puppy 🐶 Duffy is perfect in every possible way! He is healthy, happy, hale and hearty. We are over the moon with Farmstead Kennels! John and Sadie are incredible - They really do breed and raise puppies that border on magical. John and Sadie are so attentive to detail, and they did an absolute phenomenal job of matching us up with the best possible pup for our family. Our Duffy is sugar-candy sweet, and as calm and quiet as can be. Perhaps even TOO calm for a younger family with playful children, but for us? - He is the PERFECT PUP!

Farmstead is amazing! We brought our Nemo home 3 weeks ago, and he is an absolute joy. He is the smartest, friendliest, and healthiest boy. From the moment I spoke with Sadie I knew that Farmstead cared deeply for their dogs. She and John were so thorough and answered all of our questions throughout the process. They also sent the sweetest biweekly updates and pictures of the litter, and gave us a bag of toys and goodies on our pick up day. I would absolutely recommend Farmstead to anyone looking to bring home a new puppy!

Farmstead Kennels is amazing. John and Sadie are so nice and very helpful. We have never gone through an official breeder before and the experience was more than we could ask for. We brought home our Golden puppy today. Named him Obi and we are just blessed. In 2015, our beautiful Tater left this world. Knowing my husband and I were having a difficult time adjusting to life without her, our veterinarian and friend Chris Runde told us about Farmstead Kennels and suggested we reach out to John and Sadie, which I did. For 7 years I have followed her on Facebook. Knowing someday, we too would be sharing our home with one of their fur babies. Well, yesterday was that day! Our beautiful Tigerlily was born July 15, 2015 six weeks prior to Tater’s passing.
This sweet gentle lady, is truly a gift from God.
Thank you John and Sadie for taking such wonderful care of her and trusting us with her future.
