If you are looking for a creditable, reliable, caring, and excellent breeder, Farmstead Kennels is the place. I adopted a Boston Terrier from Farmstead Kennels and it has been a pleasant experience. What stood out to me particularly is the amount of care John has for the dogs. I learned a lot through the pickup process and am now a proud pup-parent to the most amazing Boston Terrier.

Our Lucy was purchased i from farmstead kennels. What a wonderful girl she has been. Loving ,healthy,smart,and beautiful. She goes every where with us And it never fails we are also stopped by someone asking us were we purchased her. she is such a beautiful Boston terrier. I was recommended Farmstead by someone in my neighborhood and they were fantastic!! We did a lot of research and were really happy with the whole process and ultimately, our puppy. Sadie was very helpful and easy to work with throughout the process and John was great when we were taking home our Kevin. He has been breeding dogs since he was a teen and was extremely helpful in picking out the right dog but also with adjusting the pup to their new home. Couldn't say better things about this family and the facility in general (clean, quiet and beautiful).

Have had my puppy home from Farmstead puppy paradise for a few days now and I couldn't be happier with him! He has transitioned into a new house with a 85lb dog and a cat without one hitch and blended right in like he's know them for years. John and Sadie raise wonderful puppies!

My husband and I had the best experience working with John and Sadie at Farmstead Kennels! They are both so warm and kind and it is obvious how much they care about their puppies. When we first expressed interest, they wanted to know about us -our careers, family, lifestyle, outdoor space around our house. It was clear they wanted to find the best matches and homes for their puppies. Once we gave our deposit, we got weekly photo updates of the puppies. John and Sadie were extremely knowledgeable. At pick up, they gave us time to choose our puppy and also provided lots of helpful information regarding the best care. Our Maddy is a gorgeous pup who is becoming a wonderful part of our family! They continue to be a resource for us too for any puppy questions we have.

I got my corgi Charlie about a month ago. He is the sweetest, friendliest, most well adjusted puppy. Farmstead has done an amazing job raising happy, healthy, and well socialized puppies. Everyone who meets Charlie comments on how amazing it is that he sleeps through the night and his overall calm demeanor. Clean bill of health from my vet and no issues at all. I couldn’t recommend Farmstead more and I look forward to getting him a Farmstead sibling in the future!!

I will only get future Goldens from Farmstead until they stop! Sadie and her husband were the kindest people and it is so clear how much they love the animals. They were great at communicating, the facilities were beautiful and I knew my puppy was loved before we got him! If you are thinking of using them- 1000% do!!

This is our first time using Farmstead Kennels, and actually our first time purchasing a dog from a breeder at all. From beginning until now (1 year later), we feel it has been a great experience. Communication was at the top of the list as John and his wife were GREAT at responding to emails and phone calls, for whatever questions we had. They aren't vets, but they were VERY knowledgeable on all topics for our new Boston Terrier, and if they didn't have the exact answer (seldom), they would get back to you ASAP before you had a chance to worry. The dog was checked for all health conditions and was fed with a very nutritional diet (I do extensive research and found the food and vitamins to be HIGHLY RATED) while in their care until we picked him up. They sent several emails with his pictures and videos beforehand, and allowed us to meet him several times growing up before we were able to bring him home. They provided all instructions, certifications, etc.
We haven't used their kennel services, but it seems like they treat all their variety of animals with EXCELLENT care around the clock.
All in all, a great experience and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future!

We had such a great experience adopting our Olive from Farmstead Kennels in Summer 2019. We drove across several state lines to adopt our pup after doing our due diligence. We wanted a healthy, responsibly breed Boston Terrier. The Middletons are committed to breeding healthy Bostons that are JHC cleared through parentage, fully up to date on vaccines, with a health guarantee. We got to see the mother and the rest of the litter in a clean and safe environment on a utopic piece of land in Southern Maryland. From their loving hands to ours, we have a healthy, joyful, well socialized family dog!

I was completely floored by the cleanliness of the facility, professionalism, flexibility, and the care they take with each and every one of their puppies. Love farmstead kennels. We have boarded our pups there during our vacation. Also have two of their puppies in our pack. About to be 3....they are the best, healthiest pups around. Such great temperaments, well adapted to other pups and kids.
