Among all housing agents, Trading Places can still be very much trusted. They act as they promise.

I am delighted that I discovered Trading Places in Leytonstone. Having searched for a property for six months I was amazed at their professionalism compared with other estate agencies; they were so helpful, punctual, polite, speedy and very supportive of every aspect of my property letting, even though I was at times impatient and demanding! Their processes are incredibly thorough and superior to other agencies acting as secure protection for both tenant and landlord. I can not recommend them enough - they absolutely leave other agencies in the shade by far. Thank you Trading Places!

Very responsive and a pleasure to work with. Gary has been particularly helpful in negotiating the right tenancy agreements for me when my future in London was uncertain.

Trading Places did a good job of selling my property. Their help and support when i put the house on the market and on the days of the viewings was much appreciated.

Relocating to London is difficult at the best of times, especially so when trying to find a lovely one bedroom flat. Trading Places really were a breath of fresh air and provided a helpful and flexible service to meet my requirements as a potential tenant. On moving in minor teething problems with the property have been dealt with efficiently. Overall a friendly service.

My girlfriend and I really appreciate what Jamie did for us. He dealt with us and even if finding the right apartment took a while, he was always kind and helpful providing us a very good service. When we found the right place the process was smooth. The only negative point is the fee. Even if costs and fees where clear since the beginning, we think they are a little expensive. But anyway I would recommend them.

I fail to understand the reviews given by many customers of The Trading Place. My experience with their employee was awful. Firstly the person dealing appeared to be bias and showed us properties which were unacceptable and when we pointed out certain properties he suggested those will be very expensive for us. I had dealt with firm before buying few properties for my nephew who is an investor.

I have been living in my property for 8 months bought through another estate agent, but it is not possible to have my information deleted once it is on Trading Places' system. "Your details can not be deleted because you have one of the following: A market appraisal/valuation, a viewing or a pending offer. You can however, unsubscribe yourself from all correspondence and marketing."

Letting summary..Being an overseas landlord and having numerous properties already, Julie and Mev seem to talk to talk, but fall very short of walking the walk. By far the worst service I have received in 10 years.Items:- Very slow on email communication (inability to whatsapp)- No inventory taken or issued - Signed contract never provided- Initial cleaning was very poor- Slow replies even when it came to extending lease/renegotiation with tenant- Tenant even reached out to me as the "full management letting agent" were all uncontactable after a couple of weeks about a particular repair- Even one repair was never finished off (painting over new plaster) - Gas certificate never issued although charged- Repairs were above market rateI was very fortunate to have a really pleasant, understanding and nice tenant who cut out the middle man agents; Julie and Mev, and came straight to myself.

Phoned Trading Places Estate and Letting Agents 4 times over three days for an agent to phone back regarding letting and sales. Gave them cell number and email no reply although one staff member said lettings tried to phoned on my cell - no missed or incoming calls registered or in junk mail. Cancelled my enquiry with them 16Nov19 as they can’t get basics right to start with.

I rented from the Trading Places letting agents last year, unlike many here my review is based on the whole process not just after you've moved in, where they try to charm with their pound shop welcome gift. We rented rundown converted 1 bed flat next to Leytonstone for £1200, never should have paid asking price first mistake. After one month we were told we could not have a Sky dish at the property even though there was one when we moved into the property, it was hung too low for a good signal. They are very intrusive; they did a property inspection six months in tried to do another one couple months later. Their contractors always have your keys and only come at times when you are not home to carry out work. The real issues arose after we moved out, they charged us £385.00 to have the house professionally cleaned, even though we left it spotless and forget clean it wasn't even vacuumed when we moved in. They had some old broken chairs in the cellar that they were too lazy to throw away and blamed that on us. The property we moved into had the worst paint job, we were so embarrassed, it made the whole place look rundown, we felt the need repaint ourselves, second mistake. Now they are trying to repaint the whole property and trying to charge us for it acting like we destroyed their masterpiece. And that is just what the landlord wants to charge for, that snake Steve Hunt, tried to blame us for everything that was broken/imperfect at the property, when we made it clear this stuff was already in this state when we moved in, his answer was why didn't you report it for repair so basically they can bring in their own contractors and overcharge the landlords for repairs. My advice is to avoid this company, Theydons and Haarts might be slow to respond but that's because they are good and good means they will be more busy than this type of agents who try to squeeze everything out of the few customers they do have. If you are already in one of their properties, do take pictures of the condition of everything when you moved in and definitely before you move out. Report everything that requires repair, even if it is safe and the damage is only cosmetic. If I quit my job and had a baby, they would give me a house but no I work hard, pay my taxes, my rent on time, and my thanks is getting scammed, dealing with humans like these.
