Right before I came into Right Way, I was at another dealership and was told that due to policies my application would be rejected and I could not get a car through them because I work as a dasher through Doordash (ride share employment). Unless I could find a cosigner who does meet their requirements, they would not proceed. I was not prepared for this information or knew this prior to walking in the dealership.
*The day before I was approved based on the application process they offer online and given an appointment.
I felt defeated. I just sold my car the day before ready to place a down payment on a newer car. I was afraid I would not get a car, leaving me without income or transportation. I understand better today and learned from this experience that most dealerships will not accept ride share due to the risk and liability banks see this type of employment. I only share this so I hopefully can help others in the future who may read reviews and may be in a similar situation.
After taking some time and calling several dealerships, I came across Right Way. I called and Phil (sales rep) picked up. Phil was welcoming. He answered all my questions and I explained what I was currently going through at another dealership. Phil did not make any promises he couldn't keep and reassured me Right Way will do everything they can to work with me and hopefully get me into a car that day. Based on Phil's communication and down to earth persona, I decided to make the drive from Miamisburg to Vandalia. Phil immediately greeted me, offered water and sat down to listen further to my story. Arman the assistant manager also joined the conversation. They both made me feel understood and recognized the issues I was dealing with from other dealerships earlier that day. They explained everything openly and honestly to help me understand the process dealerships have to go through. They didn't stop there. As a team, these two broke down everything and helped me through the entire process. Once all paperwork was done to apply, the financial rep Josh found a bank who would work with my employment and was able to get me an offer. Devin, an experienced sales person also came in to help the process. I do not feel I'm important nor expect an entire team of reps at a car dealership to make this effort but they did. They went above and beyond to get everything handled in the same day. They treated me with respect all while being honest, direct and willing to answer any concerns or give clarity on any confusing. I felt like a valued customer whereas other places refused to do so. If your looking for an honest and respectful experience where you are likely to be approved... do not go anywhere else. Go with Right Way in Vandalia. They work for the customer as long as it takes to get them in a car that same visit.
