CRI Genetics gives you a very detailed breakdown of your ancestry. It also goes to the level of the PEOPLE that we come from (As far as tribal names). Being of African descent, I was extremely anxious to learn about what country or countries in Africa I was from. I knew it was in Western Africa. However I was very surprised to find out that I had Kenyan ancestry as well. Sample submission was very easy with a swab. The results were issued well within the range given, and the results reports are pretty detailed and fascinating, with both recent history reports back 5 generations and then a much more detailed history report going back over a thousand years using older strands identified from certain groups among the billions we have. The video series that combines quick short lessons explaining how the science works with friendly and comical narratives has been helpful and enjoyable. The test confirmed and provided more detail of known family history and stories, as well as a few twists of more distant family dna strands and where they came from. Those 'twist' clues will make me dig deeper to find the roots of those lines. Overall I would recommend this, and be ready for some surprises.
