The impact of what I learned from my test is still working thru with me. I don’t quite look entirely Anglo Saxon & the feedback from the test gave me profound insights - I couldn’t really ask for more I wasn’t really interested in the health stuff eg am I prone to nasal blockages or other rare conditions etc I don’t know a lot about my ancestry & I wanted to know who I am - ie my make up! Know knowing that my recent origins (last 300 years or so) have genetic contributions from 3 continents has helped me make sense of my appearance and feelings

I chose this ancestry type because I know who my ancestors are but I wanted to know where I came from, how that impacted my personal life now, and how it might have a bearing on my health and my well-being. I enjoyed the depth that CRI genetics goes to to show us our genomes and our maternal RNA. I got interested in finding my beginnings after reading a book called The Seven Daughters of Eve, that I highly recommend to anyone who wants to know “where did I come from.”
