Interns Grace H. ‘21 and Anya C. ‘23 worked through July on Nueva's first diversity review of our library collection. For each book, they check 13 categories of information about the author, the main characters, the main topics, and the time frame of the book. Along with WRC Director Jen Paull, they have audited 240 fiction books and 145 nonfiction books thus far. The WRC will use the data points from their findings to order new books to build a more diverse collection.
