The Nueva School is delighted to announce the hiring of Lee Fertig, director of the International School of Brussels, as our new head of school. He will assume his new role in mid-August 2020. The Search Committee was impressed by Lee's rich experience, his warmth, and his dedication to expanding the capacity of healthy organizations. Lee is excited to join the Nueva community. "I am truly humbled and honored to have the privilege to lead one of the very best independent schools in the United States," he said. "The fact that the entire Nueva community genuinely embraces the central role that social and emotional learning plays in education, especially for gifted learners, makes this professional leadership opportunity even more exciting for me. I have been inspired by everyone's passion, dedication, intellect, ambition, and heart." Visit https://www.nuevaschool.org/hos for the official announcement from Board Chair Bruce Cozadd regarding the hiring of Lee Fertig.
