Introducing Karen, another one of our summer student ambassadors in the Admission Office! Karen is a rising junior in our Lynch School of Education and Human Development majoring in Secondary Education and Biology. Karen’s favorite place to spend time on BC’s campus is the patio of Corcoran Commons. “The patio of Corcoran Commons is a really great outside area to catch a meal with a friend. I loved stopping by in the spring semester to get some sunshine while I did some studying. Throughout the spring, BC Dining hosts a cool farmers market there that students can stop by at to get some fresh produce and baked goods. My sophomore dorm overlooked the area so I had a pretty awesome view of it as well!” #bostoncollege

Happy Takeover Thursday! This week, Nora will be showing you around her favorite spots on BC’s campus and answering any of your questions! A fun fact about Nora is that she is a part of the Fulton Leadership Society at BC. “During my first year at BC I joined the Fulton Leadership Society, a club on campus for students in the Carroll School of Management who are looking to meet other first years & upperclassmen, while gaining valuable career insights from those mentors and alumni through various networking and recruiting events for students. FLS became a great community for me over the past year, and I am looking forward to 3 more years of being a member in this club — fostering those same relationships & also continuously being pushed academically and extracurricularly as a student at BC! In this picture, we were in the middle of Welcome Weekend, when all the freshmen, and many upperclassmen, spent the weekend together doing various bonding and service activities — my favorite part was going for a hike and being able to bond with other students in a more fun, casual setting for that first weekend together!” #bostoncollege

Introducing our next Student Spotlight, Colin! Colin is a rising junior spending his summer working in our Admission Office. Although Colin works on campus, he enjoys getting into the city of Boston to see new areas. One of Colin’s favorite places in Boston is Fenway Park. “College students in Boston have access to $9 tickets to Red Sox games so the atmosphere is always so much fun. I love being able to go to one of America's coolest sporting venues and the area around Fenway is also so much fun to hang out in so it is definitely my favorite area of Boston.” #bostoncollege
