One of Liv’s favorite club involvements is the Dance Organization of Boston College. “DOBC is a completely student run dance group on campus that performs a variety of styles such as contemporary, jazz, and ballet. DOBC has not only provided me with some of my best friends on campus and incredible upperclassmen mentors, but it has also provided me with the opportunity to try new things and get out of my comfort zone. For example, sophomore year I co-choreographed a pointe dance for our annual showcase. Although I have been dancing for years, this was the first time I was personally involved in choreography, lighting, set design, and publicity. DOBC has been an amazing way to continue my passion for dancing in college and find a sense of community at BC!” danceorgbc
