The Winter 2021 BYU Religious Education Review magazine has arrived! This edition highlights efforts made by many within Religious Education to communicate the message of the Restoration in a broad variety of ways. The BYU International Society Annual Conference “Gathering Light and Truth from All Nations” takes place at 9:00 a.m. on both Tuesday, April 6 and Wednesday, April 7. This special event will feature a dialogue between Elder Jeffrey R. Holland of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and Rev. Andrew Teal, chaplain of Pembroke College, Oxford, as well as a discussion on “Divine Truth in World Faith Traditions.” The conference will be streamed on the Kennedy Center YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7ZI9bcWKaDRMOnOS7jagog.

We are pleased to announce the 2022 Church History Symposium to be held on March 10–11, 2022. The theme of the symposium will be Latter-day Saints and Religious Liberty: Historical and Global Perspectives. Keynote speakers will include Elder Gerrit W. Gong, Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and Sarah Barringer Gordon, University of Pennsylvania Professor of Constitutional Law and History. The symposium is being jointly sponsored by the Department of Church History and Doctrine at Brigham Young University and the Church History Department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Safety protocols permitting, sessions of the symposium will occur both on the BYU campus in Provo as well as in Salt Lake City, Utah. Additional information about the symposium and its theme are included in the attached call for papers. Please feel free to distribute this invitation and call for papers to anyone who might be interested in preparing a paper for presentation and possible later publication. Thank you!
