Hi Everyone!! Brian Gleason and I are once again doing the Courage Ride this year. (August 9th)ππ This ride is Near and dear to our hearts as all the proceeds directly benefit Osteosarcoma Bone cancer research at the University of Iowa Hospital. The ride starts at the Big Grove in Iowa city where you are provided a yummy breakfast, you then hop on your bikes and take either a 18.5-mile, 37-mile, 57-mile, 86.5 mile or 100-mile ride. You then return to Big Grove tap and brewery in Iowa city where you're provided lunch with live music. Its honestly such a great time for a great cause. ALSOOOOO... This year Brian and I are doing T-shirts for Andrew Gleason They will look like the picture attached except they will be lime green!!!ππ T-shirts will be $25.00/each. Proceeds will go to Andrew to help with his fight against Osteosarcoma. If anyone would like a shirt feel free to message me. Or text Brian (shirts are available whether or not you're wanting to do the courage ride)ππ Or Venmo Brian or myself and put what size or sizes you want in the comments. It's been a wonderful weekend - and a ride I truly needed get under my belt! First and foremost, the ride itself. This was an absolutely perfect ride - not too hot, not too cool, very very flat, and absolutely beautiful! I hope you can watch the complete ride video and really appreciate the breathtakingly beautiful blue sky. And no, I did not do any color correcting - what you see is what we saw....

Fighting sarcoma cancer. Together.π
Saturday some of our employee-owners and their families participated in the 20th Courage Ride to fight sarcoma cancer and support our Health Wellness and Safety Specialist Ben Woodsβs wife, Lindsey.
We're proud to be a Courage Ride sponsor and support its incredible impact on sarcoma cancer research at the University of Iowa Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center. Shout out to JWM employees, family, and friends who took part by riding or volunteering at the day-long event in Iowa City!

We had a wonderful day yesterday at the Courage Ride raising money for sarcoma research at University of Iowa Health Care Stead Family Children's Hospital!
It was fantastic to see all the Courage Ride friends and families and especially some of Drewβs favorite UIHC caregivers - thank you Kathy and Mary Schlapkohl for the warm hugs and always being members of our family!
Biggest thank you to our Team Just Drew It - Adam Wall and Sofia Haan and my sisters and brothers - Rebecca Dye-Parker and Darren Parker and Michelle Goodall and Steve Goodall and our dear friends Valerie Edwards and Dave Edwards riding with us in spirit from Madison, WI this year, but back with us next year!
Hereβs to perfect temperatures, fighting head winds both ways and wicked hills together, rest stop snacks, lemonade stands, out-peddling the horse and buggy, sag wagon help with flat tires and especially Big Grove cold beverages and Yottyβs Ice Cream Bars to finish!
Thank you to all the sponsors and Big Grove Brewery for being such great hosts! See you next year!

Bobbie Jo Allen and I rode the Courage Ride yesterday in support of sarcoma cancer research. Fighting Sarcoma Cancer Together. Last year they raised $75,000 for reasearch. So glad I am strong enough to do this ride after my diagnosis of sarcoma cancer 4 1/2 years ago. We rode almost 32 miles including 12 miles of hills. The longest ride available for the day was 105 miles, we're not ready for that one. I'm so proud of Bobbie Jo. I threw the idea at her the last minute that we should ride an additional 13 miles (12 miles of hills) more than originally planned. Bobbie was great and worked really hard getting us over the hills.
Got to speak with my doctors, a board member of the Seth Bailey Courage Ride organization and friends (old and new). Looking forward to next year.
This organiztion does a fantastic job putting together a great event, lots of volunteers, good rest stops with music, bike repair, snacks, including Pickles, breakfast, lunch and Kolona ice cream bars. Thanks to everyone that helped, Big Grove Brewery and all the participants.
If you would like to donate to the research effort for sarcoma it would be much appreciated. Approximately 1,000 combined miles biked today by family in honor of my sister in law Abbey Almelien Banh who lost her battle to sarcoma in 2013. Itβs been a tradition every year since to do Courage Ride. With Iowaβs rising cancer rates we need to do more research funding, and find solutions to prevent and combat these terrible diseases.
Owen and I did the 85 mile route, which took us through Hills, Frytown, and North English. With start and end at Big Grove Brewery, you canβt beat it.
