YEAR 7 GRANDPARENTS DAY | This morning, we were delighted to celebrate Grandparents Day, a truly special occasion in our College calendar. It was an honour to share this time together, cherishing the unique and precious bonds our students have with their grandparents. The event was also a time for reflection, appreciating the vital role grandparents play in our lives, both past and present. We lovingly remembered those who have passed away or whom we never had the chance to meet. Thank you to our wonderful Year 7 students who performed today - your poems, dance and instrumental pieces were beautiful. TOM | Congratulations to our talented students who represented the College at the Tournament of Minds over the weekend. The Tournament of Minds is a dynamic, team-based academic competition that challenges primary and secondary students to think creatively, solve complex problems, and collaborate under pressure. Our Junior Team (Years 7 & 8) took on the Language Literature challenge “Tales of Light, Dark and Tan”, showcasing creativity by re-imagining Shaun Tan’s ‘Cicada’ through the lens of women in the workplace. Our Senior Team (Years 9 & 10) rose to the challenge in Social Sciences “TOMmunity Tackles Town Tensions!” impressing the judges with their solution for the placement of a new recreational facility and earning Honours (2nd place)!
