ITALIAN WEEK 2025 | Mamma mia! La dolce vita was alive and well at St Mary’s this week to commemorate Italy’s National Day. What a celebration it has been — from lunchtime Italian trivia, to our canteen being transformed into a mini trattoria, serving up pasta, pizza, arancini, sfogliatelle, and bomboloni alla Nutella. A special highlight included the 150 traditional cannoli that sold out in minutes on Tuesday! Even the school bells joined the festivities, playing classic Italian favourites that filled the air with joy. At St Mary’s, learning Italian doesn’t just happen in the classroom. Students engage all their senses to be completely immersed in the Italian language and culture. Funds raised from the cannoli sale were donated to the Good Samaritan Foundation, reflecting the spirit of generosity and community at the heart of our College. Evviva l’Australia! Evviva l’Italia! Evviva St Mary’s!
